While it needs a lot of polishing I’m still super amazed what is possible to achieve with ⁦@expo⁩ and ⁦@reactnavigation⁩ and a couple APIs!

[Evan Bacon @Baconbrix]

@schlimmson What libraries are you using prebuild for?

[Nash Bansal @trashpants]

@Tesla got BMS_a079 was meant to go in tomorrow in Solihull just got a message saying it’s cancelled no appointments available and I can’t rebook for another 6 days. What am I meant to do with the battery dead on my driveway for a week!?

[Nash Bansal @trashpants]

@rustem_du +

[Nash Bansal @trashpants]

@ejsdev I vote for pirate ship wind sail on a house - none of this classy looking envelope stuff

[Nash Bansal @trashpants]

@panic trying out nova, any time I try to select “common ligatures” on my fonts nothing happens / it deselects it by automatically? Is it a paid for only feature?

[Nash Bansal @trashpants]

uhhhh anyone know why my Xcode 15 swift package manager somehow doesn't have the tick boxes next to packages like in everything ive seen online before?

[Nash Bansal @trashpants]

@NVIDIAGeForceUK @PlayOverwatch #BeyondFast

[Nash Bansal @trashpants]

@ItsJamesWilson I’m pretty sure you’ve played Tetris before whenever this was

[Nash Bansal @trashpants]

@ejsdev Blasphemy!

[Nash Bansal @trashpants]

@ejsdev Also your dog looks gigantic!

[Nash Bansal @trashpants]

LTTP but it just clicked that hogwarts legacy uses the same tune from the artist guy in zzzap

[Evan Bacon @Baconbrix]

URL-first app architecture makes this possible. Entire idea behind @Expo Router

[Nash Bansal @trashpants]

@aleqsio @amanhimself Hey it's pretty bare bones as it stands right now - I haven't had a chance to look at it until now and, yeah super weird but its back to how the docs show it 😕 but all good now!

Only thing I miss from the previous i18n iteration is just using t("abc") over i18n.t("abc")

[Nash Bansal @trashpants]

@amanhimself setting up localisation in expo - this line in docs threw me for a min as getLocales() is a promise so it won't work.

Also the complete example below is a mix of old and new way of doing this

https://t.co/dwX6qkrNhd

how can I help update this?

[Nash Bansal @trashpants]

@Baconbrix testing out expo router and it’s awesome! Are custom screen transitions yet to come or am I completely misunderstanding something in the docs?

[Nash Bansal @trashpants]

@stwater in WV6 no water in the middle of the night, can someone look into this please?

[Nash Bansal @trashpants]

@ejsdev Less npm more dog pictures!

[Nash Bansal @trashpants]

@Tesla in the last two iOS app releases somehow the wheels have changed on my model 3 car avatar from ubertubines. Very much first world problems but can we change them back?

[Nash Bansal @trashpants]

@LFC_BST @talv I think what makes me sad is that blutak and screwdriver is just unexplainable to anyone else and nothing can beat how satisfying it truly was - especially the first time
