TrawledSeas is a 2 year research project that investigates the role of bottom trawling on the geomorphic evolution of deep (>200 m) sea regions. It started in December 2020 and is led by Ruth Durán at the University of Malta

🚨paper alert!! New publication lead by the great @DrRDuran from @ICMCSIC with new insights on how bottom trawling induces long-term seabed morphological & sedimentological changes
Nice paper by Montse Demestre and colleagues from the @ICMCSIC assessing the Good Environmental Status of Maërl habitats on the Blanes continental shelf, Catalan margin, in the NW Mediterranean using a combination of non-intrusive sampling methods. #bottomtrawling, #geomorphology
