@American4ev@gunfanatics1 Out past 20 yards an optic is superior to iron sights. That's a fact. 10-20 yards it's more based on experience. Inside 10, it's been proven no sights is just as good as iron sights and optics. An optic is better for situational awareness and no "get good" argument can beat that.
@MattGoBLUE42 As a Buckeye fan, after reviewing the replay booth video and the live broadcast, I can confirm that the Big 10 got it right. It took between 10-15 tries, but I managed to stop the broadcast video with 18 touching the ball and 0:01 on the clock.
@HLC_actual Canada doesn't provide enough energy to the US to cover even 1% of the energy needs for 1 of the 3 states it sends energy to. The US sends more energy to Canada than it receives.
@Jbgoblue1984@OhioTate Okay, I thought UofM was supposed to be the school with the better education but I guess I'm wrong. OhioTate said his lifetime and 21 + 11 = 32, greater than the 22 years since 2004. Also, around 1918 birth is the break for someone to see more UofM wins than Ohio State wins.
@RKelanic There's more than one. Restricting troop movements to borders or key facilities, restrict ability to reinforce, reducing the ability to move troops to suppress protests/uprisings. That's 4 reasons to support the strike w/5 seconds thought and no access to classified info
@ahmadslmanx These are Cold War designed CAS aircraft. They're literally designed to take all the beating while knocking out tanks. If the US wanted to use them in Iran, we would, but there's no need yet.
@PastorMarvy Iran/Persia has been conquered significantly more times than they've conquered. And terrorist attacks that the US has responded to with restraint isn't fighting. This is fighting and they're getting smacked around.
@Sputnik_India This completely fails to denote that while Iran spent days and thousands of munitions to destroy a few radars, the S-400s of Iran were wiped out in minutes and were ineffective vs any incoming US attack.
@tgnlnv Do you have proof of anything? Credible sources show exactly you're wrong. Iran's AF is gone, 75% missile launchers gone, drones decreasing, missile boats gone, and there is no indication sorties are decreasing.
The US doesn't see itself fighting Iran, just the Islamist Regime.
@DoomerTapes At the end of the day, the cliche "Fight like you train" is true. If you train to fill your breached bedroom door with defensive lead, it doesn't matter if the firearm is semi or full. Just as long as you have enough ammo to ensure attackers are neutralized.
Continued fake news from the pro-Iran analysts. Note that paintings on the ground don't have a thermal image, don't have a shadow, and if you pay attention to the front windscreen you can see the thermal change, indicated it's a lot hotter on the inside than before.
IDF Attacks Iranian Painting and Releases It as Destroyed Target
Iran is using anamorphic paintings on the ground to deceive attacks by the US and Israel. Notice in this video how the supposed helicopter hit is actually just a painting on the asphalt.
Russia used the same technique in 2023 to fool American satellites during the war in Ukraine.
This draws attention to the possibility that many reports from Israel and the United States are filled with strikes on fake targets of this kind. It also shows that Iran is investing in attrition and preparing for a possible long-term conflict.
During an ongoing briefing, U.S. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth said that a U.S. submarine sank the IRIS Dena off the coast of Sri Lanka with a torpedo, the first such attack by a U.S. submarine since the Second World War.
@planefag@chabranigdo I agree with your assessment here; the US doesn't even need to fully knock out all air defenses, just create the air corridor for the drones to enter undetected.
It's takes like this and the tweet this person is quoting that are a perfect reminder: while the pro-US analysts aren't 100% right, the pro-Iran analysts are nearly 100% wrong.
The Iran-Iraq war happened in the 1980s, that "experience" is 40 years old. Also, their navy is gone.
@pati_marins64 Iran needs to conduct targeted strikes to do real damage early. The more they fire the more their launch batteries are exposed. Shoot & scoot only goes so far. I have higher confidence that their trying their best and even overwhelming isn't working.
@RichardHanania This is extremely ignorant of key factors. Historical data, older conservatives growing up watching the evening news with their family, was ignored. As what conservatives are doing - in my analysis I've found over 80% are doing something else while listening to the news.
