@Schwarzenegger If we wait for the two main parties to fix it, it will never happen. We need to take control of state governments and reform the way states determine national representation. We need to eliminate districts and distribute seats based on the popular vote in each state.

We have the internet. It's archaic. We need proportional representation. A compete overhaul of state election systems.

It won't work, unless you focus on the root cause first, which is the all-or-nothing nature of the state electoral system. The whole thing is outdated and based on the structure of our population centuries ago when we were mainly an agrarian society.

The two-party duopoloy has been ruining America for decades. We should start with demanding proportional representation.

@HeathMayo Also, replacing the all-or-nothing electoral college with a system that divides electoral college votes up in proportion to the vote within each state would be a huge improvement and force candidates to appeal to voters in every state and not be so divisive..
