Recovering big tech eng having fun in the brave new world of agents

I just replaced my Clay + SmartLead setup for cold email campaigns with a vibe coded localhost solution. It's like so much more enjoyable, the interfaces are 10x simplified to only the stuff I care about, this is 100% the future
I've never not had to review work and prompt for changes across half a dozen apps, however:
What helps me a lot is a second agent in the loop. Claude 4.8 xhigh or max for the core work, Composer 2.5 to assess and give feedback to Claude
The fact the models disagree so much means having multiple is probably essential.
@mynameisyahia You don't always have to read it if you give it a good interrogation afterwards.
Yeah just assuming it did things correctly produces complete train wrecks
Don't let this distract you from the EU AC debate.
Anyways was a gentle rocking wake up this morning from 22nd floor in Sapporo, 200 miles away from the epicenter.
These days being an AI-native indie dev building a portfolio of profitable projects actually seems safer than putting all eggs in one project locked in by VC funding and then failing after multiple years like almost every VC backed startup
@alexcooldev This is where I am. Good retention means talking to customers + a bunch of iteration and it's a phase that's way harder and more open ended than building a prototype and launching
MRR churn went from >50% to <10% in 3 months of hard work and about to scale up marketing again🤞
@carlaconwifi AirBnBs for personal backyards/gardens and AirBnBs for space: that photo could be a 200 sqft room and if ventilation isn't good you'll end up in a stuffy co2 box. Have had this problem at many hotels even 5 star ones like the W (take a co2 meter)
@levelsio A cooling pad like eight sleep might be the best solution if can't install AC? No idea if effective if your room is stupidly hot to begin with.
@skcd42 Excellent. Possible to configure which models to use for what? Composer 2.5 has been my workhorse, I'd start using this immediately without trust issues if I could configure Composer 2.5 to do all/most.
@karankendre Am I mistaken or is it not just an orchestrator of other frontier models?
Because myself and probably a lot of other devs already have our own custom orchestrators that invoke various models, which (for obvious reasons) also perform on par with top models
@iamtrask Interesting to find out people aren't already using combos in local setups. You can even vibe code it like pictured (my setup). Surprising to see how much the models disagree on things, saves a lot of frustration having just one extra model to x-check
