Hey everyone.
Our product, Tributly turns everyday digital attention into value. You can see small, non-intrusive ads while browsing - and during natural waiting moments while AI generates a response. You can earn up to 50% of the ad revenue just working as usual. Our goal is simple: let advertising help offset the cost of the AI tools and digital subscriptions you already use.
We’re adding a VS Code extension soon
When your AI is thinking or working you’ll be able to make a bit of money from that wait
Same thing we already do in the browser, just inside the editor - stay tuned!
We built a browser extension that introduces a new way for users to interact with advertising
Now users receive nothing in return from ads
We have a system where users can choose to engage with ads and earn for the attention they provide
It's a more balanced advertising model
Would love feedback from the browser extension community and we also need some support on ProductHunt, thanks!!
❗️Product Hunt launch question, how are votes counted and filtered?
We recently launched on Product Hunt and noticed something I don’t fully understand
We asked our users for support a bit late, and all of them had new Product Hunt accounts, from what I understand, some votes from newer accounts do not count and may be filtered
But I also noticed notifications that someone upvoted the product, while the total number of votes didn’t change
So, how does Product Hunt actually calculate the final vote count?🙄

We’re live!
Tributly is officially launched
The internet monetized your attention for decades
We’re building the layer that pays it back.

The local court has approved our operations.
That was the last legal condition before we could go live
We are now in the final stretch.
Official launch is 4 September
We're already building a startup for 50 days. Sharing progress?
It’s been around 50 days since our start. A lot changed.
Over this time, we’ve been building the platform and we’re finally getting close to the first beta test.
We migrated to a new infrastructure AWS, spent time testing different analytics tools, and figured out which solutions actually fit our needs. Now we’re moving into stress testing.
Along the way, we also explored a lot of interesting opportunities and met some great people. From making first tries joining accelerator programs and taking part in their courses, to getting access to startup credits for different tools and connecting with founders and people who already have experience building and investing in startups. These conversations and learnings helped us look at us from different perspectives.
Working with video formats became a bit easier, but it's still feels impossible to bring it for more people. So I have a question. HOW?
On the content side, text-based updates and not only on social platforms have been performing well, so we’re continuing to use them.
Btw, I finally found and managed a cheap paid ads channel, with an average CPA of $0.013 per user.
Right now, we’re waiting for the final legal approvals and, if everything goes as planned, we’re aiming to launch in August.
For those who don't know (you're all) - Tributly is a platform that shares advertising value with users. Instead of your attention creating value only for platforms, users get a share back.
Your attention has value. We’re building a way for users to benefit from it.
Share ur experience. Still have a lot of questions.
We've moved our analytics from Amplitude to @posthog
PostHog offers much more interesting technical solutions, and they also provide a startup grant - which is extremely valuable for early-stage teams like us
Happy with the switch so far 🚀
Implementing geo targeting for the ad system right now.
It will not ship with the initial release
We need a solid user base first so geo campaigns can deliver real reach and actual scale
Once live it gives advertisers higher targeting precision and users more relevant ads
It's been quiet for a while because I've been deep in one problem.
Getting our browser banner to work across every website turned out to be much harder than I expected.
Some pages broke. Some web apps looked terrible because the banner covered content or just didn't belong there.
After a lot of trial and error I finally got it working.
Now the banner fits into almost any website or web app without breaking the experience.
I'm sure there will still be edge cases that need manual fixes but the biggest challenge is finally behind us.
We're approaching the final stretch of building the core functionality of https://t.co/0lLfAbHwDR
Right now we're polishing the last details, and stress testing is just around the corner to make sure our infrastructure is ready to handle real traffic
We are currently advancing our application for an infrastructure grant with @Microsoft
This will enable Tributly to launch on robust enterprise grade infrastructure ensuring consistent performance and uninterrupted service from day one
