just gave my first presentation of my #knauss fellowship to folks in my office at DOE. was able to use my “fisheries expertise” (their words!!!) to bring everyone up to speed on an interagency strategy. feeling proud 🙂
as it was my first time in california i stayed an extra day to explore 🙂 naturally i ended up in a fishing port and found a fishermen (and the dock cat) to learn about west coast fisheries
