Subject: Strong Demand for Cancellation of Re-Examination of UGC-NET June 2026 (English & Commerce) and Immediate Declaration of Answer Key & Result

Respected Sir/Madam,

We, the candidates who appeared for UGC-NET June 2026 in English and Commerce, respectfully submit this application to request that the proposed re-examination be cancelled.

We strongly believe that candidates who appeared for the examination should not be made to suffer again for circumstances that were not caused by them. Many candidates have already invested months of preparation, time, money, travel expenses and considerable effort in appearing for the examination.

Our Strong Demands

1. ❌ Cancel the proposed re-examination for candidates who have committed no wrongdoing.
2. 📢 Release the official answer key at the earliest.
3. 📊 Declare the UGC-NET June 2026 result without unnecessary delay.
4. ⚖️ If any specific irregularity has been identified, take targeted action against the responsible parties rather than imposing a blanket re-examination on all candidates.
5. 🔍 Ensure complete transparency regarding the reason and evidence behind any decision to conduct a re-examination.
6. 💰 Candidates should not be forced to bear additional travel, accommodation and other expenses for an examination they have already taken.
7. 🧠 The academic and mental burden of preparing and appearing again should also be taken into consideration.

🙏 Our Appeal

We do not want a re-examination. We want justice for the examination already conducted.

If there is no proven fault on the part of English and Commerce candidates, then making every candidate appear again would place an unfair burden on innocent students.

Therefore, we respectfully but firmly demand:

«“NO RE-EXAMINATION — RELEASE THE ANSWER KEY AND DECLARE THE RESULT.”»

We request NTA and the concerned authorities to consider the genuine difficulties of candidates and take a fair, transparent and candidate-friendly decision.

So the NET UGC papers cancellation fiasco was the outcome of lazy ass NTA members using AI to create the exam papers, which led to large scale repetitions from earlier papers, even to the extent of the sequence of right answers being same. Some questions were not in the syllabus.
