@LADWP LADWP punked us in 90046. Power came back...for 10 minutes. We are now closing in 45 hrs no power. Had to take elderly neighbor to her elderly friend’s home in Burbank, where their utilities aren’t yet run by gangsters with a thieving 3rd world mentality.

@eileenies @LADWP After 40 hrs LADWP flipped the breaker and allowed full power to flow through this part of the hills. How soon before we see the mayor and concerned officials meeting to ensure this won’t happen again-then letting us know rate increases are the only answer.

@justcamvu @LADWP They’ve almost convinced me there’s only one crew and they’re being shuttled around town for photo ops. Haven’t seen any crews in 90046 where we’re over 39 hours w/o power - and we’ve been roaming the area to stay out of the roasting house.

@Maura86110734 @LADWP Wealthy parts of town? The outage is all over, restoration of power certainly doesn’t seem to be favoring ‘wealthy’ parts of town, of which few are actually left as LA’s slide into the 3rd world continues. Everyone is getting screwed.

@eileenies @LADWP I can second that. They have not responded to anything from 90046. Going on 39 hrs and the recorded estimate for power restoration just keeps getting pushed back, now stating 11:59 pm 7/8. That really means tomorrow afternoon the way things are going.

@TheRealGHoover @LADWP Lol “heat storm”. They came up with that in some meeting a few months ago while looking for buzzwords to cover excuses for screw ups. Typical summer weather gave them cover to flip the switches so they can demand rate increases this fall.
