An Indianapolis development company with close ties to former Indiana Secretary of Commerce Brad Chambers received more than $77 million through no-bid Indiana Economic Development Corp. contracts for its work developing the LEAP district.

The recent audit of the IEDC — which uncovered a pattern of undisclosed conflicts of interest, lavish taxpayer-funded travel and no-bid contracts — revealed that Pure Development was one of the top recipients of IEDC funds between 2022 and 2024, a time period that significantly overlaps with most of Chambers' tenure as Indiana's top economic development official.

Before the special session was even called—and long before a single line has been drawn on a new map—the left-wing, anti-America-First crowd has already issued preemptive lawsuit threats. Those threats, which will almost certainly be carried out, will force Indiana taxpayers to cover the costs of legal defense over a process that that has already been determined to be constitutional and legal: mid-decade redistricting.

As our office has stated, we are fully prepared to defend any new map that the legislature draws and enacts. This is simply the latest threat by the Left to use lawfare to challenge a political outcome it can't control.

In recent years, Hoosiers have consistently delivered supermajorities to Republicans in both the Indiana House and Senate because they want conservative policies and leadership. The General Assembly is well within its legal authority under the U.S. and Indiana Constitutions and settled Supreme Court precedent to draw new congressional maps mid-decade.

If the Left wants different maps, the answer is straightforward: win more elections. In the meantime, we will vigorously defend the legislature’s work.

You know I try to give you more details after I read the probable cause, but really all I want you to know is - we live in a sick and broken world. I am not saying this man is guilty. I am saying what detectives describe and say they found on his devices is pure evil!

24-year-old Jonathan Peternel of Pendleton faces child sex crimes including more than 200 files of horrific CSAM. Peternel is a mechanic with the Indiana National Guard.

The Hamilton County Metro Indiana Crimes Against Children Task Force says they received a CyberTip submitted by Snapchat.

Investigators say not only was Peternel collecting the CSAM he was also disseminating videos to other people. One of the group chats was titled, “Diddy Disciples.”

I will only describe the videos as sadomasochistic child abuse, children that appeared to be drugged or intoxicated while being abused, violent child molestation, and photorealistic AI-generated photos of nude pregnant toddlers.
We have no idea who made the videos or where this children are located.

Today I feel like I am living in times of Sodom and Gomorrah. Wickedness!

Peternel is currently being held at the Madison County Jail on the following charges:
Child Exploitation (Dissemination), a Level 4 Felony (1 count)
Possession of Child Sex Abuse Material, a Level 5 Felony (6 counts)
Dissemination of Child Sex Abuse Material, a Level 5 Felony (1 count)
