Whenever I meet people of my father's generation who knew him, I only get to hear as to such a gentleman he was and a man of such good nature and heart. To be remembered with such fondness even after passing away is an achievement in itself. #Father #Memories.

A month ago, I said the hardest goodbye of my life.

My mother passed away. 💔

She was admitted to the hospital after she started feeling uneasy.

I stood beside her in the ICU, watching someone who had always seemed so strong slowly slip away.

Nothing prepares you for that.

As a doctor, I understand illness.

As a son, I was simply helpless.

It was painful to see her sinking. From consciousness to semi consciousness and then unconsciousness.

Her heart beats slowed down and then the ECG line became flat.

The days move on, but a part of me remains in that hospital room; holding her hand, hoping for one more conversation, one more smile.

If you have lost a parent, you will understand my grief.

Thank you to everyone who noticed my silence, reached out, and gave me the space to grieve.

If your parents are with you, use every opportunity to interact with them.

When I experience any kind of emotional pain, I understand the importance of my work. To be with someone at their lowest point of life.

I have started my work again.

Difficult it may be, but life must go on.

This is Anand Singh.

He was an MLA from Karnataka from 2008 to 2023 and has links to the mining business.

Since around 2012, he has faced ~15 criminal cases, including alleged forest encroachment, defacing trees, and timber-related violations.

He was with BJP from 2008 and then joined Congress in 2018.

In 2019, he joined BJP again and returned to power.

He was made Forest, Environment and Ecology Minister.

What a joke. I mean, seriously, how can a person facing forest-related allegations be put in charge of forests?

ಇಂದು ವಿಧಾನ ಸಭೆಯ ಅಧಿವೇಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ಚರ್ಚೆಯ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ, "ಐಪಿಎಲ್ ಮ್ಯಾಚ್ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಸಕರಿಗೆ ವಿಶೇಷ ಮರ್ಯಾದೆ ನೀಡಬೇಕು. ಶಾಸಕರು, ಅವರ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಮತ್ತು ಮನೆಯವರಿಗೆ ತಲಾ ಐದು ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ನೀಡಬೇಕು" ಎಂದು ಕೆಲವು ಶಾಸಕರು ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದರು. ಪ್ರತಿಪಕ್ಷದ ನಾಯಕರೂ ಈ ವಿಷಯದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ದನಿಗೂಡಿಸಿದರು.

ಈ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಸಕರಿಗೆ ಏಕೆ ವಿಶೇಷ ಸ್ಥಾನಮಾನ ನೀಡಬೇಕು? ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕಳಕಳಿ ಇದ್ದರೆ, ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಇದ್ದರೆ ಎಲ್ಲರಂತೆ ಮ್ಯಾಚ್ ನೋಡಲು ಹೋಗಲಿ. ತಮಗೆ ಉಚಿತ ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ನೀಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸಲು ಶಾಸಕರಿಗೆ ನಾಚಿಕೆ ಆಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲವಾ? ಇವರಿಗೆ ದುಡ್ಡು ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ಖರೀದಿಸುವಷ್ಟು ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯ, ಯೋಗ್ಯತೆ ಇಲ್ಲವಾ?

ಶಾಸಕರೂ ಮ್ಯಾಚ್ ನೋಡದಿದ್ದರೆ, ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ಗೆ ಏನೂ ಹಾನಿ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಇನ್ನು ಮ್ಯಾಚ್ ನೋಡಲೇಬೇಕು ಎಂದಿದ್ದರೆ ಹಣ ಕೊಟ್ಟು ನೋಡಲಿ.

ಬೇವು ಬೆಲ್ಲದ ಸಿಹಿ ಮತ್ತು ಕಹಿಯ ಆಸ್ವಾದದಂತೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಜೀವನವೂ ನೋವು ನಲಿವಿನಿಂದ, ಸುಖ ದುಃಖದಿಂದ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಷ್ಟ ಸುಖಗಳಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿರಬೇಕೆಂಬುದು ಇದರ ಒಳಾರ್ಥವಾಗಿದೆ.

This post is A BIG thank you to ALL my family, friends and so many other people who have reached out to me!

On the 27th of December 2025 my life was taken out of my hands…when meningitis took over my brain, & unbeknownst to me I was placed into a paralysed coma for 8 days to help me fight this awful disease. And that I did! Fight that is!….

After being given a 50/50 chance of surviving, I came out of the induced coma 8 days later…not able to walk or talk. And yet 4 days after that, with the doctors in disbelief, I walked, I talked and proved to them all why I should be released from hospital to start my recovery.

So happy to be home, to be able to put my feet in the sand on the beach and to start thanking all those people that reached out to me and my family in their unwaivering support.

This experience has reminded me of how fragile life is, how quickly everything can change & how precious time is!

There are so many wonderful people in this world … from paramedics (at Mermaid Waters Ambulance), doctors & nurses (at Gold Coast University Hospital) … to family, friends and people I didn’t even know. I feel like I met all these fantastic people in the past 3 weeks, or they reached out to me through messages of love and support.

I am so grateful to you all.
Thank you! 🙏

Yeah, Kalburgi still needs to develop , but its per capita income is higher than that of Varanasi district, where Vishwaguru Modi is the MP, and even higher than the GDP of some North Indian state capitals.

and IT minister of Karnataka from Kalburgi wants to eradicate RSS instead of improving the basic facilities in his home ground. No other man can be more misaligned in his objectives than this guy. Hope people of Kalburgi learn their lessons and elect better representatives for them in next elections.
