Carol & the End of the World is extraordinary; both deeply moving and hilarious. Such a joy to see this kind of storytelling with animation. Hats off to @danguterman and the entire team that brought this to life. More of this, please.
Now streaming on @Netflix
If you haven't seen "Carol & The End of The World" - why not?!
It's easily one of the most beautiful, moving, thoughtful and yes, hilarious animated shows ever. I laughed, I cried, I gasped.
I don't want to oversell it, but it's better than 10 Super Bowls
Watch it on @netflix
Carol & The End of the World is out on Netflix today! I painted the laundromat sequence in episode 1 and it's one of my favorites, I got so much gorgeous color direction from @eleanormichalka and @allisonperryart! amazing BGs are designed by @Turcinsoylu
I'd like to add: I've never been on an animated show like Carol & The End Of The World before. No sane show would shoot the concert scene in episode 1 so wide. I drew this whole crowd for just one quick shot! Part of why, I think Carol's, world feels both so big & so small ❤️
A mysterious planet is hurtling towards Earth, the end of the world is imminent. While everyone is off to pursue their wildest dreams -- one quiet and always uncomfortable woman stands alone.

This is a turning point.
We will either look back on this as the moment we made the choice to invest in our industry and our people — to believe in LA and take pride in shaping culture worldwide.
Or the moment we gave all that up for short-term shareholder returns.
The SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes have huge, obvious implications for the entertainment industry and creative work.
But the outcomes of this moment also have *enormous* stakes for Los Angeles.
The future of this city is being fought for on the picket lines right now. 🧵
Union solidarity in LA runs deep.
We're here supporting @WGAWest because they are our family members, some of them were our students and they are all part of our community.
Even if they weren't, they still deserve a living wage and a fair contract.
When we fight, we win!
