The foolishness of ZANU PF. They recalled duly elected Citizens representatives. They imposed a pseudo-opposition of their own making. They manipulated the composition of Parliament and distorted the will of the people. They manufactured a fake two-thirds majority. Everything they did to the Parliament of Zimbabwe, against the mandate given by voters in 2023, fundamentally altered its character and legitimacy. That alone makes today's vote null and void. Yet they celebrate this rigging and political theft as a victory. A false victory. A rigged victory. A false Parliament. Zimbabweans outside that self-congratulatory circus reject this nonsense. The people do not support it. This is our fight, against the amendment of the will of the people. A fight whose expiry date will not be dictated by oppressors, rigged votes, or manufactured majorities. It will be decided by the citizens themselves—and by no one else!
