A student once explained how wild pigs are trapped:
First, they are given free corn in the forest.
They return every day for the easy food.
Then slowly, fences are built around them, one side at a time.
At first they resist. Then they adapt.
Finally the gate shuts and the pigs, now dependent on the free corn, have lost their freedom without even realizing it.
That is how freedom often disappears in societies too. Not suddenly through force, but gradually through dependence.
Free rations. Free electricity. Free cash transfers. Endless subsidies. Political promises of “something for nothing.”
Each may appear harmless in isolation. But over time, citizens begin depending more on the State than on their own enterprise, effort and initiative.
And when dependence grows, freedom quietly shrinks.
A nation becomes truly strong not when more people vote for benefits, but when more people create, build, innovate and contribute.
There is no free lunch.
Someone always pays the bill.
And sometimes, the hidden cost is freedom itself.
It isnt surprising that NEET exam has been cancelled by the @NTA_Exams . The hub of this entire operation is Sikar, where the success rate is 6X of national average. A similar thing happened in 2024 too, but the allegations were brushed under the carpet. Had we dealt with it in 2024 with an iron hand, this wouldnt have repeated.
What we know is that 140 of the 180 questions in NEET were part of a guess paper of 410 questions. What is alarming is that the order of the questions and the options were exactly the same.
The modus operandi is simple. In Sikar, the students are called in for a Mock test, a day before the actual exam and made to prepare for each of the questions in the guess paper. The students had 140 of the 180 questions preepared, thus guaranteed 600 of the 720 marks even before they entered the exam hall.
Time to go after the paper leakers. Jail them. 23 Lac students and families will pay the price of the brushing under the carpet we did in 2024. @careers360

If you see a prescription with
1. Sitagliptin 200 mg
2. Teneligliptin 20 mg
3. Vildagliptin 50 mg twice a day
All in the SAME prescription for ONE patient, what will you do ? Are we supposed to give feedback to the doctor that this is bad ?
Ordered from Rare Rabbit 2 days back.
I get a call from a very professional sounding girl saying my card payment hasn’t reflected in their system and I need to pay again. She says the earlier amount will be refunded.
For a moment it actually sounded genuine.
Then my founder instinct kicked in.
I started asking simple questions. She got irritated, cut the call, and never called back.
Yesterday my product got delivered without any issue.
So how did a scammer know I placed an order, paid by card, my phone number and the exact brand name within 24 hours?
This doesn’t feel like random spam. Crazy how our data leaks with a bullet train speed!

This is the building in Ghaziabad from the ninth floor of which three sisters, Pakhi (12), Prachi (14), and Vishika (16), jumped to their death at 2 am today.
Sounds like the opening scene of a possessed horror movie. Disturbingly, it turned out to be real. They were possessed, not by a spirit, but by an online Korean task-based game that allegedly involved self-harm.
Police recovered an eight-page suicide note written by the girls, detailing their gaming and mobile activity. It read: “Papa, sorry. Korea is our life. Korea is our biggest love. Whatever you say, we cannot give it up.”
The girls’ father said the addiction began during the COVID-19 pandemic. Gradually, they became irregular at school and eventually stopped going altogether. The sisters did everything together, bathing, eating, allegedly as part of the game. They had even adopted Korean names and wanted to be called by those names only.
Parents, learn. No mobile phones for minors. If they must be given, supervision is non-negotiable.
These economically weaker section candidates (8 lakh annual family income) are so poor they opted for PG seats in private medical colleges where fees is Rs 25 lakh to 1 crore per year
Scam of fake EWS certificates is thriving even as genuine EWS candidates get robbed of seats
PhD students — the very backbone of innovation — are sitting on protest at Azad Maidan, not for luxury, but for their unpaid fellowships pending for two years. These are students researching agriculture to transform farmers’ lives, yet our system punishes them for choosing knowledge over politics.
While developed countries like China, the USA, and the European nations reward researchers and fund scientific progress, India stands out as the only country where governments find money for pre-election bribes, not for nurturing the minds shaping its future.
When you elect illiterate, anti-intellectual leaders, you destroy the very foundation of progress — science, logic, and innovation. This is not just a protest; it’s a mirror reflecting how far we’ve drifted from reason.

The wife gets the husband to our outpatient for liver health check up. He's a daily drinker. He's been drinking for 15 years. His friends too. They are all doing fine. Him too. He does the tests. Just a bit of fatty liver. He says he's doing alright. We (me and my senior RMO) educate him how alcohol harms beyond the liver. He's not interested. We advised a psychiatrist review. He ignores it. Goes home. Drinks at night. Probably to teach the wife a lesson. In the morning he's back. This time on the ventilator. The ICU doctor sent me this. This guy is in for a long stay in the ICU and longer stay in the hospital. This can happen to anyone who drinks.
Anyone. Anytime. Anywhere.
Kerala Healthcare model needs applause across the country
What a brilliance in healthcare it must be that they have left behind even top healthcare places like USA in terms of improving the IMR (infant mortality rate)
Kudos to you mam @VeenaGeorge03@iprdkerala
We have been sold a lie about our children.
For two decades, we've been fed the myth of the "Digital Native"—the idea that our kids are tech wizards simply because they were born with a smartphone in their hands.
This was never a harmless misunderstanding. It was a dangerous deception that served commercial interests while leaving an entire generation cognitively defenseless.
Here is how we are engineering a generation of passive consumers:
In my opinion a new political party (in India) purely focusing on urban issues - ease of living, quality of infrastructure & public services- devoid of emotive issues (religion, caste & language) will have a fair level of acceptance. (Since none of the establishment political parties seriously address these issues or put it in the forefront of their agenda)
Another solution for the Central Railway Administration to understand the woes of the MUMBAI local railway commuters is to shift the CST HQ of Central Railway to DIVA & Western Railway HQ from Churchgate to Nallasopara for the senior officers to travel by Local trains daily to understand the commuters agony !
This is a common scenario at Thane which results in major accidents in the Thane-Kalyan patch.
Suburban stations like Dadar & Kurla handle 3 Lakh passengers daily while Thane handles close to 9 lakh passengers daily which is way beyond its capacity.
