Only plausible scenario under which Palestine gains statehood now is if it (and Hamas) completely demilitarises.

There is no way Israeli Citizens would accept a Hamas led State armed by Iran on its border.

If the borders are guaranteed by treaty, Hamas has no need for an army.

A wonderful 3,500 year-old ancient Egyptian glass jar from the cosmetic beauty case of Merit.

This lovely jar has a lid decorated with two duck heads. The body is made of core-formed glass with applied thread decoration.

Glass was a relatively new material at that time, so this jar would have been a precious possession.

The beauty case of Merit was discovered in 1906 inside the intact Theban tomb (TT8) of Merit and her husband Kha.
