The pomodoro technique has been key for my productivity and focus for the last couple of years.
I've tried probably every app out there and they all have small but annoying things I can't get past. This morning though I found https://t.co/nir89KRAXv by @alexandberg . So far I'm in love and hopefully finally something I can stick with. Not sure how I've missed this one 🤷♂️

🚀 1.8 is a small update, but I know many of you will find it useful.
You can now see your clocked hours broken down per workspace and project in the log for the selected week or day.
And yes, I've started working on something really cool (if you noticed the "2.0" project) 🤫
→ You can now change workspace/project(s) for a session using the menus
→ There's now the ability to quickly clock into a new session using Clock out → With new session
→ Workspaces and projects are now sorted by last used first
...and more!
🚀 Balance 1.7 is now available!
→ Added an Owner‘s Manual for those who want to learn more about how Balance works: https://t.co/aubzYKvtQP
→There's now an option in the settings to make the focus timer count down instead of up
This update includes some smaller UI/UX improvements too, like the title bar now having a subtle background to hide the scrolled content.
(Twitter doesn't allow me to upload a video of it for some reason 🤦♂️, but you can see it on Mastodon: https://t.co/6YohsNcGPh)
🚀 1.6 is now available and brings some long-awaited improvements and fixes.
The active session duration is now available in the log as well. This is great for those who like to exclude breaks in their time tracking, e.g. for freelancers who track billable hours.
Been using @tryBalanceApp by @alexandberg for a month now.
Tracking time on my #freelancer work, personal growth and indie app development became a delightful part of my day. 🚀
Thank you for constantly shipping updates. 🙏
Big thanks to @felibe444 for the recommendation! 🙏
💡 Quick tip: If you would like to quickly switch to working on another project or workspace, you can hold Option (⌥) while selecting.
This will clock you out from the previous workspace/project and clock you into the new one.
🤯 omg. @tryBalanceApp was featured in the latest @DenseDiscovery.
"This lovely-looking macOS app combines manual time tracking with regular break reminders and a built-in Pomodoro-style focus timer."
Thanks, @KaiBrach! ❤️
