I think there may have been a misunderstanding about what Forecast is designed to do.

Forecast isn’t a flight search engine built to find the cheapest fare for a single traveler. It’s a budgeting tool built specifically for meeting and event planners who need to estimate the cost of moving large groups of people.

For example, imagine Tesla is planning a company offsite with 300 employees flying in from dozens of different cities. Before anyone books a ticket, they need to answer questions like:

✈️ How much should we budget for airfare?
📍 Which departure markets will drive the most cost?
💰 Can we actually afford this event?

That’s exactly what Forecast does.

We intentionally build conservative estimates into our projections because the goal isn’t to show the lowest basic economy fare someone might find on the internet.

The goal is to give planners a realistic budget that accounts for the complexity of moving hundreds of people. If anything, we’d rather help someone budget a little high than come up hundreds of thousands of dollars short.
