starting a celiac friendly tweet series (if I can remember) when traveling:
Jazzy Ladies Cafe & Club ☕️
Everything in the restaurant is GF‼️
📍Eugene, OR
@ABEALLCURVE@DenverPolice@dobetterdnvr@GenXJenDen I was in my Lyft heading home from the airport when we had to quickly stop because of this incident. The man in the street was completely unconscious by the time I got there. The man w/the bat was over him & eventually walked back to his car—had completely shattered windshield
attended another energy panel this week and yet again everyone is putting the cart before the horse…enough arguing about technology specific policy agendas and FIGURE OUT TRANSMISSION ‼️
@overstreetha Majority of ppl working at the DCs are local & are involved in the communities we operate in. They take pride in their home towns. I’m happy to share several more ex’s of how Google DCs approach being good neighbors in the communities we get to grow w/ feel free to reach out 🤗
@overstreetha Another example is the workforce & education component. Google supports national, state & local trade + STEM programs that fit the needs requested from the local leaders. I.e. we’ve been asked to create & support programming + career pipelines/pathways for animal science, ag, etc
@tpapres Not jobs—they are careers. High-paying careers that don’t require technical degrees. High-paying careers that allow people to transition from the military to a civilian job, allow people to have a great career right out of high school or allow people to pivot careers in life.
@saeverley Every lead tradesman on our DC sites tells me they’ve been building DCs their whole career and how cool it is to show the next generation. We can’t build DCs without HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, electricians, etc. and we can’t build our communities without them either. 🫱🏽🫲🏾
Data centers are the answer to driving down electricity prices, said Secretary of Energy @SecretaryWright at the Cato Institute.
States with the fastest demand growth have seen prices rise slower than inflation.

Google is constructing three data centers in the state of MO. These investments are employing thousands of people, contracting millions in small and local MO businesses for years to come, and is the largest investment in state history. All good stuff 👏🏽#datacenters
@JohnLamping This is simply not true. Large loads are the only thing putting downward pressure on energy rates at this time. Almost all hyperscalers have been doing this for a decade + it just was not memorialized in formal tariffs but instead embedded into the ESA’s/other agreements.
@JohnLamping John, I’ve noticed you share some posts missing some great info. I encourage you to read about the Capacity Commitment Framework, & the large load tariff’s passed by both Ameren & Evergy, which reqs DC over 75 MW to comply w/. Hyperscalers are bringing their own energy.
➡️ Foundational Infrastructure for the Future Economy
@Google is making a $15 billion investment in Missouri this week, announcing a plan to responsibly build a new data center, increase local infrastructure capacity, expand energy affordability programs, and fund thousands of jobs in Montgomery County, MO. Many of these jobs will support people and families in the St. Louis region.
