I don't understand why the tax code 1257L still appears for the current tax year on the previous job in the HMRC app ? and BR on my current Job?

@HMRCcustomers, the tax code 1257L from a previous job still continues to appear, and therefore for the current job, the tax code shows as BR. I have been calling HMRC to inform this and waited for 1 hour to abruptly disconnect. How else can I update this information, Thnx?
