@KatyCodesStuff There is no "right way" technically. Most code is thrown away in less than two years. Focus on impressing your project sponsors more than other developers.
@scott_inthe902@TimSackett Unfortunately, most managers can only think about management through the mechanistic lens of consistency and efficiency. I say unfortunately because most human work is shifting to the creative/people side and must be managed organically.
@TimSackett Agree that it's all about fit. There's no right or wrong. The magic happens when there's a match between an authentic person and an authentic organization. It's why it's important for both sides to discover who they can make happy.

@shaneparrish Important concept, and a key is to leave some slack and not be all in all the time. Without some capacity available, you won't be able to go after that fat pitch when it arrives.
