On the evening of April 23, 2024, another high-intensity bomb planted by suspected Kuki militants destroyed a bridge along Asian Highway 1, connecting India and Myanmar, further leading to Southeast Asian countries. This occurred in the Kuki-dominated areas of Christian Kuki-dominated Kangpokpi District in Manipur, India.

The Kuki Student body from the area promptly issued a press release in response to the incident. This bombing isn't isolated; a similar incident occurred in the Kwakta areas of CCpur district border locality on June 21, 2023. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has investigated the earlier incident, resulting in the arrest of several individuals from the Kuki Narco-Terrorist Groups.

Such deceptive behavior by purported Kuki groups isn't unprecedented, given their history of deceitfulness. It's concerning that they attempt to deflect blame onto irrelevant factors, such as the location of the blast site, which is deep within their occupied/controlled territory.
This heinous act constitutes a blatant war crime, as the targeted highway is the lifeline for 3.5 million inhabitants in the region, highlighting the attackers' disregard for human life and basic humanitarian principles. All including KSO executive must be booked and investigate, as they could be the first source of information to the incident.

It's important to note that this area is also known for massive opium plantations, illegal village expansions, and a population explosion of illegal immigrants from Myanmar. Moreover, it's the epicenter of Chin-Kuki narco-terrorist groups, operating under the suspension of operation agreement with the Government of India.

Three medium-intensity blasts have damaged a bridge in the Kuki-dominated Kangpokpi district of #Manipur.

The blasts oçcuring last night have adverely affected the movement of traffic along NH2, the lìfeline of Imphal Valley.

Kuki terr0rists had been attacking critical supplies and blockading the crucial supply lines since May 3rd, 2023, leading to untold sufferings.
