You still have your family.
You still have your friends.
You still have your work.
You still have your passions.
You still have your diversions.
You still have the capacity to feel joy, and the means of doing so.
You still have your mind, which is and will always be yours alone.
And you still have the ability, no matter how difficult it may seem, to choose to carry on with your life, and spend the one and only existence you will get for all eternity in as loving, fulfilling, and authentic a way as you possibly can.
So hope some of those getting a bit tired of @F1 got to see the Barber Park @Indycar race!!
Fabulous, undulating circuit bordered by small kerbs then grass with the odd gravel trap here and there.
So much contact going on the F1 boys would have been moaning all race long ...
A mannequin falling at today's IndyCar race drew broadcast comment. "There's been an accident of a different kind." "...Not a real person, we should point that out right away." "...Her name is Georgina." "...We'd better hope the IndyCar drivers know that's a mannequin."
So the curtain is pulled back on F1 for what it is: not a sporting championship, but a private club. Ferrari, Mercedes, McLaren etc bring more "value" than F1 brings them? Puleeze. And suggesting Andretti is in it for money over glory is simply offensive to a family of champions.
It’s alright. Take your 10 teams. We will have 27 cars within a second in a few weeks, having zero idea Sunday morning who’s going to win the race. All the very best. LFG @IndyCar
