@alexandthepets@Ssrichart11@mattxiv Teachers have a tough job, constantly reminding kids to wear a mask is exhausting, and teaching with a mask on is really hard. I know most teachers are adapting but it’s been a long road. They deserve a little wiggle room when it comes to making mistakes 🙂.
@froggyspiced @Ssrichart11@mattxiv I agree, I think the use of sanitizer and hand washing has been beneficial and sick kids and teachers staying home. With Pre-K you can always use hand washing as a teaching strategy..practice standing in line, fine motor skills, adaptive skills. Useful things!
@Ssrichart11@mattxiv This may also be related to a lot of kids still receiving their schooling virtually. I work in a school that has been in-person and barely any of the kids effectively wear a mask 24/7, teachers constantly remind them to pull them over their nose but it’s constant reminders.
@UriahGunn@erinnblackk@EverydayFinance Immune suppressed person here! I wore a mask. I had covid in august and was sick for a week, recovered 100%. I work in a school with coworkers that wear their masks religiously, they all got covid. 🤷🏼♀️Just some first hand experience.
