I made a post about Dangote Refinery yesterday, and a lot of people are in the comment section, and my DMs are saying that Dangote Refinery is a private business, therefore he will start operation whenever he likes, and it’s not our business.

As a Nigerian, Dangote Refinery is our business. In case you don’t know, Dangote Refinery was built with a good loan percentage and a lot of support from the FG.

The Federal Government didn’t put in all that effort because they wanted Dangote to be richer; it was because of how beneficial the project would be to Nigerians at large.

I personally supported 100% subsidy removal, bearing in mind that Nigeria has a refinery that is supposed to be working in a few weeks, so the demand on the dollar will reduce and the dollar rate won’t affect the price of fuel because he will buy crude in Naira and sell PMS in Naira.

Therefore, as a concerned Nigerian, Dangote Refinery is your business, and you have the right to ask questions about it.
