I am grateful for Monero, and I'm using it as much as I can. But it's no replacement for Stripe and PayPal, just as Rumble is no replacement for YouTube in Europe.

People just want convenience when they're watching political content in their spare time. They don't want to go on cumbersome platforms. When they want to support someone, they don't want to have to install apps, buy crypto, and do complicated processes.
It is very often a simultaneous decision. It has to be one, maximum three clicks, or it doesn't happen.

The majority of people, if you're no longer on YouTube and you don't have Stripe or PayPal, don't go a long way to support you. They just switch to watching and supporting someone different.

This is how the system can weed out certain individuals and movements. They don't deplatform and debank everyone. By doing this, it's even harder because people don't see this as a big issue, and those who are not affected don't care at all. They even profit from it in a way because they "inherit" all the viewers and supporters of those who are destroyed.

In that way, outside forces can easily boost and deboost certain aspects of a political movement by selective debanking and deplatforming.

It has been a silent massacre going on since 2015.
The only pushback was when Musk created X.
