Some have asked about this:
Susan and I wanted our gift to give 25 million children a stronger start and to reach communities where it could make the greatest difference.
We began with all eligible children born between 2016 and 2024 who signed up before auto-enrollment and lived in ZIP codes with median family income of $150,000 or less. We wanted families who took that first step to know they could count on our commitment.
Next were military children living overseas who also signed up before auto-enrollment. They represented a very small share of our $6.25 billion gift, but we didn’t want to leave them out because their military addresses didn’t fit the usual ZIP-code income framework. Their parents are serving our country abroad, and we want these children included in the future we are investing in.
When all American children were auto-enrolled at the beginning of this month, we immediately began funding the accounts of all children born 2016 to 2024 in eligible ZIP codes, beginning in ZIP codes with lowest median family income and moving progressively to higher median family income, up to 25 million accounts in total.
We chose this approach with care and a simple hope: that these investments will open doors and help millions of children build the futures they dream of.

The Dell family gave 7 billion dollars directly to American children. And instead of gratitude, there's much discussion of a 62 year old woman's looks. We are at a pre-Flood level debasement of God's creation.
All the experts are going to be very confused when Trump continues to act like Xi is his best friend while simultaneously running around the world coercing bilateral deals that you would only expect to happen the day after China invaded Taiwan.
Remember that every day that China continues to act calm and reserved is a win.
We are playing for time.
Every day we inch closer to rare earth independence. Every day we inch closer to global energy control. Every day we inch closer to ASI. Every day we inch closer to building the electric grid and re-industrializing under the veneer of the AI buildout. Every day we inch closer to figuring out ex-China drone supply chains.
And most importantly every day we inch closer to Europe realizing how utterly fucked they would be if the U.S. shuts them out of our economy, withdraws access to liquidity, exits NATO, and opts to deprioritize their access to energy.
Rome wasn’t built in a day. Undoing the Great Fuckening ™️ of prior (retarded) admins won’t happen overnight.
But underneath the chaos we are progressing.
Brazil to the right next. Iran will escalate and regime change. Cuba probably just for fun.
Midterm Republican sweep 🫡
Predictions of Rs losing midterm is based on generic congressional ballot polls. Much better predictive power is the relative favor ability of each party. Dems aren’t liked either, the two parties are nearly tied on that metric. Rs should easily sweep.
@TMTLongShort Betting markets follow generic congressional polls and Nate silvers forecast which itself follows those polls. Problem is - that particular poll has a decent error rate, another less known one has much tighter correlation and so far has Rs down 1% in the popular vote.
@TMTLongShort Polymarket international (no US citizens allowed) has it at 88%. Polymarket USA is 84%. That is a big delta and may say something about international press coverage
My view is that any of what are commonly called “character flaws” dramatically reveal themselves in your decision-making and ultimately, profit/loss. Those who truly succeed at this go through an intensive process of identifying and healing these flaws.
This includes, but is not limited to, the Seven Deadly Sins for example. Everyone has a bad day at times, but I have a high conviction belief that all incredibly profitable traders have built a bedrock of good character that keeps them from going astray in their investment decisions.
The ways in which these manifest are actions taken “without a sincere intent to make the most money.” If he is envious, he invests according to his inability to tolerate seeing the gains of others. If he is insecure, he invests according to his desire to be validated for intelligence or some other feature. If he is poorly socialized, he invests according to his desire to enter “community” and enjoy companionship (this one is very common in people you see on X).
Investments falsely promise satisfaction in these areas. The only way to fulfill that lack is to make the necessary effort to be positive sum and grateful, to be confident and proud of yourself, to be good to others and a respected member of your social circle. Palliating these flaws in the market does not get you what you want, and you pay a cost in money on top of it.
Few men successfully train themselves to trade because this process is deeply personal, thus embarrassing, so there’s no blueprint, and no one is going to share his experience of doing this with you, since it leaves him exposed and open to ridicule, censure, and loss of status.
To become a man of good character is difficult in itself. To do it when nobody will tell you it’s part of the trader’s job description, when you have to figure it all out yourself, and make the mental leaps that discover why being a good person is connected your rising PnL: well, that’s quite a task. But it’s the essence of being a good trader.
@MysteryGrove I would think $100K easy to defend a case, absolute min. $200K if put more effort in. Some can get gofundme, but less likely if 100s of them
@GrageDustin Trump found his winning midterm policy: root out massive fraud hidden by Dems. Such a stark contrast visually. He is lucky to have Minnesota resist him so much, if they caved Trump would be left with Greenland which wins zero votes. But Fraud upsets people
@PeterLBrandt Yup. Wife’s family is from MN, from twin cities then northwest toward Alexandria. It is even worse than you say in the ELCA (left wing Lutheran church) pastor community, they preach open revolt. Lovely lakes though, if ignore the leeches and rocky bottoms
