@yshiddforreal@NguynThiAno8ha Yeah, I don’t like her. She criticizes people like she knows everything, when she actually knows nothing. So much of the information she spreads is false, yet she’s always so loud about it. Way too many people believe A LOT of misinformation because of her.
@88Its_Me88@FluffyHDD@goseiipink Actual Japanese people are telling you here that the legal age was 20 at the time, yet you believe Olivia’s crappy machine translation over us. She’s not even Japanese or living in Japan.
She is always spreading misinformation and criticizing Japanese actors. I don’t like her.
@battleupsaber I try to stay off social media, so I rarely post. But if it helps, I’ll keep the video post up. I might delete most of my other posts, tho. But if something similar happens again, I’ll be more than happy to help.
@piecesofsiss Sorry, I don’t understand what you’re getting at. Are you saying there’s nothing wrong with him dating a 30yr woman? Because of course there isn’t.
@KingTengenn I don’t want people to think I’m defending him just because I’m some crazy fan.
I said I’m not his fan, but I did enjoy watching his drama, and from seeing bts footage, I got the impression that he seemed like a genuinely good person. That’s simply why I felt like defending him.
@scorpiongenomix@SuperplexG27lol This is the tricky part of Japanese.
He wasn’t saying it’s okay as long as it’s legal. He meant “as long as they’re not a minor and are legally an adult.” Which means 20+ at the time. Please don’t confuse the two.
@scorpiongenomix@SuperplexG27lol This is a common question asked in Japan (it might have been trending at the time).
But the question was more like asking for confirmation since he said “gyaku ni” (逆に), I took it as “You wouldn’t date a 15yr, though, right?”
I agree that it’s a creepy question though.

@rrvnsjrhjken Yeah, asking if he’d date a 15yr is creepy af. I’m with you on that.

Again, Japanese is complicated.
@lnhidayo This is the tricky part of Japanese conversations.
he wasn’t being vague. He was politely saying NO through another example.
If he’d said YES, wouldn’t the interviewer have reacted with surprise? But he didn’t, right?
To Japanese speakers, his answer was clearly a rejection.
