Devotees have always deemed it a privilege and duty to offer Bhiksha Vandanam, Vastra Samarpanam and other sevas to the Jagadgurus during Chaturmasya. Chaturmasya commences on Guru Poornima, 29 July 2026, with the sacred Vyasa Puja offered in reverence to the Brahma Vidya Guru Parampara.

This auspicious period provides devotees with a precious opportunity to deepen Guru Bhakti and express gratitude to the unbroken lineage of Acharyas.

As directed by the Ubhaya Jagadgurus, all aastikas are required to organise Vyasa Puja Celebrations and perform Gurusaparya Parayana daily from 29 July to 27 September 2026, thereby becoming recipients of Guru Devata Anugraha.

A traditional Yakshagana Bombeyata (Yakshagana Puppet Show) was offered by Sri Gopalakrishna Yakshagana Bombeyata Sangha, Pilikunje, Kasaragod, at Guru Nivasa in the divine presence of Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Mahaswamiji. Led by Sri K. V. Ramesh, the internationally acclaimed troupe has dedicated itself to preserving and propagating this centuries-old art form through performances across India and abroad. Jagadguru Sri Sannidhanam blessed the artists and delivered an Anugraha Bhashanam.

A new chapter in empowering rural India through technology and innovation

The inauguration of the Rural AI Skilling & Experience (RAISE) Centre at Muddenahalli marked a significant milestone in empowering rural youth with world-class skills in Artificial Intelligence, digital technologies, and innovation.

The occasion was graced by Dr Shalini Rajneesh, IAS, Chief Secretary to the Government of Karnataka, Sri Prabhu G, IAS, Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate of Chikkaballapur District, and Sri G. Srinivasan, Co-founder and Director of RuralShores Business Services, reaffirming a collective commitment to creating opportunities for rural India.

Uniting RuralShores, the One World One Family Mission, and the Sri Sathya Sai University for Human Excellence, the event marked the exchange of a Memorandum of Understanding, opening new avenues for AI research, innovation, internships, and real-world learning for students.

In his address, Sadguru Sri Madhusudan Sai emphasised that, "Development must reach the last and the least. Only then can it truly be called progress."
