🚍 PUBLIC NOTICE
@MoWT_Uganda informs the public that bus services continue to operate normally across the country following the United Bus Drivers Association (UBDA) disowning reports of a planned bus drivers’ strike on Monday 12th October 2026.
Passengers are therefore free to travel, and bus services are continuing as usual. We urge all road users, bus operators and drivers to prioritise safety, responsible driving and compliance with traffic regulations.
The Ministry remains committed to safeguarding the lives of all road users and ensuring safe and reliable passenger transport services.
Your safety is our priority. #RoadSafety
