A tired pilot is grounded.
A tired doctor is glorified.
WHY?

IMA has said it clearly: doctors in India are forced into 24–48 hour shifts, without regulated duty hours, rest, or safety — despite Supreme Court recommendations.

Fatigue in aviation = safety hazard.
Fatigue in healthcare = “sacrifice”?

This isn’t dedication.
This is systemic abuse.

Exhausted doctors make fatigued decisions.
Fatigued decisions cost patients’ lives.

If pilots deserve regulated hours to protect passengers,
why are the lives handled by doctors treated differently?

Enough token statements.
We need enforceable duty-hour limits, mandatory rest, adequate staffing, and legal protection — NOW.

Doctor safety = Patient safety.
Ignore this, and the system bleeds.

@iamdocmayank These all will then struggle for PG Seats and suffer the governance issues like exam postponements, results delays and then after everything sorts out wait for counselling and court hearings. I seriously wonder why all this only in medical and never in Engg, CA etc.
