@kejruth@thisisgoradio this guy has been moaning for years that he'll go under if people are able to breathe on Byres Rd. I refuse to go there ever again after he does everything he can to ruin the area so a few overweight customers can park on the pavement there to get their take away each day.
University Cafe in Glasgow prefers the top one that ruins the neighbourhood and pollutes children's lungs so a few people can get take away while parking on the pavement each day.
Making human-scaled cities is not a technical challenge. It is a political one! @Anne_Hidalgo is showing us all what is possible in #Paris! 😍

@drgeraint that dude had an entire lane to the left to pass you to the red light so you could go right back in front of him...
i just ride in the middle of the lane most of the time because of shit like this.
@LLGC_Careers You have someone who claims to go to your golf club - William King (@kingyboy1234) who posted a video of himself driving down A82 while filming himself for a TikTok video making fun of The Carrick Golf Course that has been seen by thousands. Not a good luck for your members.
@kingyboy1234 @stabokid@francesca_kms this is the guy who films himself making tiktok videos while driving to Loch Lomond Golf Club @LLGC_Careers - great people they seem to be letting in there.
he's criticising legal and safe cycling while he films TikTok videos behind the wheel of a moving car.
@JollyGoodWheeze@GlasgowCC@GlasgowCityRgn also, many people pushed for pedestrianised/bus-only traffic for the area, but the west end Range Rover communities freaked out.
@JollyGoodWheeze@GlasgowCC@GlasgowCityRgn as i said before - the idea is to make driving through this area awful so no one does it. if they compliment it by making walking & biking more enjoyable more people will choose those options for going there. this will ultimately free up space for busses.
@JollyGoodWheeze@GlasgowCC@GlasgowCityRgn they've thought it through plenty. the idea of doing this is partly to congest single-occupant car traffic more & make it as undesirable as possible. it's already awful, & it will never get better until fewer people drive. it might be bad at 1st, but it will work in the longrun.
