The U.S. depends heavily on Canadian exports, and Trump's reckless antics will only make life more unaffordable for the average American. No wonder he’s calling this "The Golden Age"—because pretty soon, we’ll all need a stash of gold just to afford living in this country!
For anyone wondering what crucial imports Trump is clueless about, here’s a short list:
Energy Products: Canada is the largest foreign supplier of energy to the United States, providing about 16% of U.S. oil imports and 14% of its natural gas consumption.
Automotive Products: The integrated automotive industry sees substantial cross-border trade, with vehicle components often crossing the border multiple times during production.
Forestry Products: Nearly two-thirds of Canada's forest products, including pulp and paper, are exported to the United States.
Agricultural Goods: The U.S. is Canada's largest agricultural export market, importing well over half of all Canadian food exports.
