Dr. Casey Means: “I learned virtually nothing at Stanford Medical School about the tens of thousands of scientific papers that elucidate the root causes of why American health is plummeting.”
“I did not learn that for each additional serving of ultra-processed food we eat, early mortality increases by 18%.
This now makes up 67% of the foods our kids are eating. I took zero nutrition courses in medical school.
I didn’t learn that 82% of independently-funded studies show harm from processed food, while 93% of industry-sponsored studies reflect no harm.
I didn’t learn that 95% of the people who created the recent USDA food guidelines for America had significant conflicts of interest with the food industry.
I did not learn that one billion pounds of synthetic pesticides are being sprayed on our foods every single year. 99% of the farmland in the United States is sprayed with synthetic pesticides, many from China and Germany, and these invisible, tasteless chemicals are strongly linked to autism, ADHD, sex hormone disruption, thyroid disease, sperm dysfunction, Alzheimer’s, dementia, birth defects, cancer, obesity, liver dysfunction, female infertility and more.
I did not learn that the eight billion tons of plastic that have been produced just in the last 100 years … are being broken down into microplastics that are now filling our food, our water, and we are now even inhaling them in our air, and that very recent research … tells us that now about 0.5% of our brains by weight are plastic.
I didn’t learn that there are more than 80,000 toxins that have entered our food, water, air, and homes by industry, many of which are banned in Europe, and they are known to alter our gene expression, alter our microbiome composition and the lining of our gut, and disrupt our hormones.
I didn’t learn that heavy metals like aluminum and lead are present in our food, our baby formula, personal care products, our soil, and many of the mandated medications like vaccines, and that these metals are neurotoxic and inflammatory.
I didn’t learn that the average American walks a paltry 3,500 steps per day even though we know, based on science and top journals, that simply walking 7,000 steps a day slashes by 40-60% our risk of Alzheimer’s, dementia, type 2 diabetes, cancer, and obesity.
I certainly did not learn that medical error and medications are the third-leading cause of death in the US.
I didn’t learn that just five nights of sleep deprivation can induce full-blown pre-diabetes. I learned nothing about sleep, and we’re getting about 20% less sleep on average than we were 100 years ago.
I didn’t learn that American children are getting less time outdoors now than a maximum security prisoner, and on average, adults spend 93% of their time indoors, even though we know from the science that separation from sunlight destroys our circadian biology, and circadian biology dictated our cellular biology.
I didn’t learn that professional organizations that we get out practice guidelines from, like the American Diabetes Association and the American Academy of Pediatrics, have taken tens of millions of dollars from Coke, Cadbury, processed food companies and vaccine manufacturers like Moderna.
I didn’t learn that if you address these root causes that all lead to metabolic dysfunction and help patients change their food and lifestyle patterns … we could reverse the chronic disease crisis in America, save millions of lives and trillions of dollars in healthcare costs per year.
This is a spiritual crisis. We are choosing death over life, we are choosing darkness over light.
We need a return to courage. We need a return to common sense and intuition. We need a return to awe for the sheer miraculousness of our lives.
We need all hands on deck.”

The State of California has been run top to bottom by one party since 2011.
Here are their results:
1) highest state income tax
2) highest rate of poverty
3) highest rate of unemployment
4) highest rate of homelessness
5) highest energy costs
Hard to explain this away.
The biggest story of last year, and probably the biggest story of the coming year, is the widespread discovery of the fact that we have never been more accountable to government, which can see into our lives with unprecedented clarity and monitor our utterances to the word, while it has never been less accountable to us.
On the verge of Artificial General Intelligence, so we're told, we still can't count votes, police billion dollar frauds, penetrate the chambers of elite decisionmaking, or figure out where much of our money is going and what's being done with it. This is the kind of crisis that undermines the basic legitimacy of nations and regimes. How we deal with it, or don't, will determine our fate.
A few controversial opinions I have today that I think will be universally accepted in 20 years:
1) video games are horrifically addictive and ruining kids lives.
2) a lot of vaccines are totally unnecessary and are messing kids up really bad.
3) fluoride in water is a disaster. Filter it asap and get it out of your toothpaste too.
4) routine bloodwork and hormone optimization would keep all these 40 year old men from looking like blobs and 40 year old women sexually active with their husbands.
5) birth control for ladies is terrible for them and messing them up bad. Stop putting your 15 yr old daughters on them.
6) straight teeth is a no brainer investment. So many people could have 10x the confidence for $5k.
7) glyphosate is killing a ton of people.
8) large vehicles are 10x safer than small vehicles. Don’t put your wife or 16 year old in a sedan.
9) iPads for kids = crack cocaine and it is making them dumber because their attention span shrinks and they never want to play or read books. YouTube is also terrible for them because of shorts.
10) waiting till 35 to get married is a disaster. A lot of these folks are going to wish they had more kids and live with the regrets forever.
11) plastics are killing us. Polyester underwear, tea bags, cutting boards, microwavable meals in plastic (looking at 99.9% of schools and all the meal delivery services).
12) non stick pans cause cancer.
13) kids shouldn’t drink soft drinks ever. And I can’t believe parents buy fruity pebbles and pop tarts.
14) alcohol isn’t as bad as people think it is. When used in moderation it is a net positive.
15) Pitbulls should be banned.
16) recycling is a total scam and should be abolished.
17) sauna is very very healthy. Most people don’t sweat enough.
18) power lifting as a grown adult isn’t worth the damage to back and joints.
19) Long distance running isn’t healthy. More people should sprint.
20) heart disease is #1 killer in men by 10x. Yet nobody gets a heart workup at 35 or 45 or tracks lipid panels. They just wait till they need a bypass or it’s too late. Make it make sense!
21) a lot of my fat friends refuse to use GLP1s because of potential side effects. The side effects of being fat are 10x worse (because of #20). Wake up!
22) a normal, old fashioned business is 10x more likely to make somebody wealthy than a tech startup.
23) AI won’t change the world very much. People are over reacting today just like Elon when he told us we’d have full self driving cars by 2014. It is a long way off.
24) crypto outside of BTC is a total waste of time and electricity.
25) high school kids are numb and antisocial today. They aren’t interested in driving, sex, sports. They can’t talk to anyone and look them in the eye. It’s because they are medicated by social media and what we are feeding them. Also see #1 and #2.
If you can raise normal kids they are going to have an easier time than ever getting ahead in this world.
What’d I miss? How many of these do you agree with me on?
Jeff Bezos is worth $238 billion, even though Amazon has a $2.6 trillion market cap. In other words, he’s created $2.4 trillion of value for other shareholders—plus trillions more for employees, customers, suppliers, governments, and other stakeholders.
Jensen Huang is worth $164 billion, while NVIDIA’s market cap is $5 trillion. That’s $4.8 trillion of value for other people (not to mention the immeasurable value created for non-equity stakeholders).
Larry Page and Sergey Brin? $300 billion vs. $3.3 trillion. That’s $3 trillion of value for everyone else. And remember how bad search was before Google and how clunky email was before Gmail?
Mark Zuckerberg? $248 billion vs. $1.8 trillion.
The list goes on. There are hundreds more examples across technology, energy, medicine, manufacturing, and every other industry that keeps the American economy running and our society flourishing.
Billionaires don’t extract value from the rest of us. They create value FOR the rest of us, in exchange for just pennies on the dollar.
We should be grateful for every last one of them.
Yesterday, I retired 17 members of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices or ACIP, the @CDCgov external panel that wields the grave responsibility of adding new vaccines to the recommended childhood schedule. Over the coming days, I will use this platform to announce new members to populate ACIP. None of these individuals will be ideological anti-vaxxers. They will be highly credentialed physicians and scientists who will make extremely consequential public health determinations by applying evidence-based decision-making with objectivity and common sense.
I will also be tweeting examples of the historical corruption at ACIP to help the public understand why this clean sweep was necessary.
The most outrageous example of ACIP’s malevolent malpractice has been its stubborn unwillingness to demand adequate safety trials before recommending new vaccines for our children. Today, a compliant American child receives between 69 and 92 routine vaccines (depending on brand/dictated dosage) from conception to 18 years of age. This is up from 11 shots in 1986. ACIP has recommended each of these additional jabs without requiring placebo-controlled trials for any of them. This means that no one can scientifically ascertain whether these products are averting more problems than they are causing.
Many vaccine promoters have challenged this assertion. They are always wrong. Last week, @CNN, which has devolved into a shameless propagandist for Big Pharma, triumphantly announced that it had proof that my pronouncement that “there have been no placebo-controlled safety trials for any routine vaccines” was false. CNN gleefully proclaimed that it had found 257 placebo-controlled studies for routine vaccines.
So, allow me a moment to deconstruct CNN’s claims. Warning: this post may only be sufferable for science geeks like myself.
CNN is wrong. No routine injected vaccine on CDC’s schedule was licensed for children based on a placebo-controlled trial. In instances where a vaccine was used as a control, it too was never licensed based on a placebo-controlled trial. That is not conjecture. It is a fact based on FDA’s clinical trial data. (See https://t.co/q1xAtVxJ4N). As Secretary of @HHSGov, acknowledging this lamentable truth is part of my promise of radical transparency.
The 257 studies cited by CNN unwittingly reflect the lack of safety trials underpinning CDC’s schedule. Despite CNN’s worldwide effort to crowdsource trials with a placebo control (per @US_FDA/@CDCgov, an “inert substance”*), this list, on its face, reflects that 236 of the studies clearly did not use an “inert” safety comparator in a trial to license an injected routine vaccine for children on CDC’s schedule.**
For the remaining 21 studies CNN’s list claims used an inert injection, 9 plainly did not:
• RCT 251, 252 (Varivax) injected an antibiotic, neomycin – not inert.
• RCT 84, 97 (HPV-16 and 16/18) injected aluminum adjuvant – not inert.
• RCT 215 (Almevax) injected another vaccine – not inert.
• RCT 55 (Lyophilized PedvaxHIB) injected lactose, aluminum adjuvant, and thimerosal – not inert.
• RCT 197 (Salk vaccine) injected 199 solution, synthetic tissue culture, ethanol, phenol red, antibiotics, and formalin – not inert.***
• RCT 168 (Dow’s MMR) injected full vaccine minus virus, including all stabilizers, antibiotics, diluent, preservative, and buffers – not inert.****
• RCT 189 (Menveo) injected Tdap+saline or Menveo+saline – not inert.
For the remaining 12 listed studies which may have had an inert injection, none was a trial relied upon to license a routine vaccine on CDC’s childhood schedule:
• RCT 170, 171, 172 (MMR VaxPro), 228 (PCV11), 136 (Vaxigrip), 242 (Antitetanus), and 122 (Chinese flu shots) trialed vaccines never licensed in the U.S. nor relied upon to license a U.S. vaccine.
• RCT 124 (Fluzone IIV3), 102 (WVV/SPV), and 188 (Menveo) trials occurred after each respective vaccine was licensed, hence were not relied upon for their licensure.
• RCT 176 (Mumps vaccine) was not relied upon by the FDA to license the current MMR vaccine. (See MMR-II clinical trial report in link above.)
• RCT 53 (PRP-D) was for a vaccine withdrawn soon after its introduction and not relied upon by the FDA to license any U.S. vaccine.
While these 12 studies were not relied upon to license a routine vaccine on the CDC’s schedule, they do reflect that a placebo-controlled trial of a vaccine is possible. They also reflect what can be learned when a placebo trial is performed. For example: RCT 136 found the vaccine ineffective; RCT 122 found that “severe adverse effects occurred in 69 (0·6%, 95% CI 0·5–0·8) recipients of vaccine compared with one recipient (0·1%, 0–0·2) of placebo.”; and RCT 124 found “the rate of hospitalization was actually higher in the [Fluzone IIV3] vaccine group than in the placebo group.”
The unfortunate reality is that placebo-controlled trials, however, do not occur and have not been relied upon when FDA licenses vaccines for injection during childhood or ACIP recommends the shot for addition to the CDC’s routine schedule.
CNN would have reached the same conclusion had it reviewed the FDA documentation for each vaccine, instead of relying upon a random, crowd-sourced list from the internet. CNN’s list ironically proves the lack of adequate safety trials for routine childhood vaccines.
It is time to stop playing games, such as CNN’s false gotcha. We have gone from 3 routine injections by age one in 1986 (the year the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act passed) to 25 routine injections by age one in 2025 (which now does not include Covid-19 vaccine). Because of the 1986 Act, every one of these products, save one, was developed by companies knowing they would almost never be liable for serious harm. During this same period, chronic diseases in our children exploded, most of which are caused by immune system dysregulation. If we are to identify the exposures that are causing this epidemic of autoimmune diseases, we need to rule out products given dozens of times to young children, specifically to modify the immune system, as potential culprits.
Our infants and children deserve the best safety trials possible to keep them safe. We should care as much about every child who could be injured by one of these products as we do every child who could be injured by an infectious disease. We must protect all children.

** While the above addresses injected vaccines, CNN’s cited list also includes 10 trials for rotavirus vaccine, given by oral drops, but none of these trials used saline only drops. Instead, RCT 205, 207, 208, 209, 210, 213 (Rotarix) contained dextran, sorbitol, amino acids, dulbecco’s modified eagle medium, calcium carbonate, and xanthan; RCT 211, 212 (RotaTeq) contained polysorbate 80, sucrose, citrate and phosphate; and RCT 206, 214 (Rotavac) included neomycin sulphate, kanamycin acid sulphate, trehalose, lactalbumin hydrolysate, human albumin, potassium dihydrogen orthophosphate, dipotassium hydrogen orthophosphate, and trisodium citrate dihydrate. The list also included three trials of an inhaled flu vaccine; the controls in RCT 104 were OPV+saline or LAIV (a vaccine), hence neither inert; in RCT 106 the control “consisted of normal allantoic fluid harvested from uninfected eggs stabilized with sucrose–phosphate–glutamate”; and, in RCT 109, the control was “intranasal spray of egg allantoic fluid containing sucrose-phosphate-glutamate.”
*** Note that the current polio vaccines used in the U.S. are a different product than the polio vaccine developed by Jonas Salk in the 1950s—which was discontinued in the 1960s—including because the currently-used polio vaccines are “grown in vero cells, a continuous line of monkey kidney cells cultivated on microcarriers.”
Hence, the Salk trial was not relied upon to license any current polio vaccine.

**** Dow Chemical’s MMR vaccine used different strains than any licensed U.S. MMR vaccine and also, after 14 days of safety review, this trial vaccinated all participants.
I like how almost all the people voicing their brilliant economic opinions today thought it was a good idea to shut down the entire economy and print $8 trillion a few years ago over a 99.999% survivable virus
The IRS hasn't updated some items for inflation in years:
- $3k capital loss limit (1978). It'd be $15,248 now.
- $3k dependent care credit (1976). It'd be $17,140 now.
- $25k/$32k social security income tax brackets (1984). They'd be $77k/$99k now.
Still, people don't entirely realize what has happened. The party now in control of the US executive branch is a third party built out of the corpses of two prevailing parties.
It goes by the name Republican but that is nearly a historical accident. Nearly all the top people are refugees from the Democrat Party and were never welcomed and even hated by the legacy establishment of the Republicans.
So far, there is every indication of the intention: to dismantle government as we've known it for a century or more. I consider that a good thing in general.
I'm not posting this to be combative & I'm certainly not posting to stir up any conflict.
I'm politely, humbly & carefully just going to leave this right here. 😉
