@makemytrip@makemytripcare Hey guys, I booked flexi ticket for by journey from blore to pune. Now I am not allowed to change the date, been trying for last 2 days. I am told by chat assistant (AI) and call assistant (also AI) that there are special conditions and I cant change. And ther is no human I can talk to. What scam are you running? Can you please tell me how to reach a human to sort this out.
Data silos aren’t just a technical headache. They’re an EBITDA killer.
Right now, in Capital Projects, your best analysts are burning hours acting as human bridges between systems that won't talk to each other. They aren't 'analyzing' data; they're just arranging it.
At @democritus_ai, we’ve built an AI-native agentic workforce to end the manual grind. We turn 'data-to-decision' cycles from a 5-day slog into a 5-minute sprint.
We don't just virtualize your data. We protect your margins.
You asked a very pertinent question, and here we are with Vertical AI for Capital Projects. We're here to Protect Industrial EBITDA.
Fancy a chat @a16z?
"When you can think anything into being, what will it be? When you can build anything, what will you build? And when you build something to solve everybody's problem, are you solving anyone's problem?"
Thoughts on why we are building @democritus_ai
A $10 plastic chair.
That's all it takes to wipe out the entire margin on a million-dollar capital project. A Right of Way dispute. Someone sitting on that chair, on contested land, holding up your project. Holding up progress on a $500K project where the EBITDA is $50K.
Between us, @twittingninad and I have spent decades building and deploying technology for industries. And we kept watching the same thing happen. The data was always there. In the schedule, in the field report, in the risk register, buried in a forgotten WhatsApp chat. The signals existed. But the people who should have been acting on those signals were spending their entire day assembling them.
McKinsey found that 98% of megaprojects overrun their budget by more than 30%. The data to prevent this exists. It's just trapped. That is what we set out to fix.
So we built Democritus: not another data warehouse that takes 18 months to stand up and costs more to maintain than it saves, but AI that comes to your data, understands your project, highlights anomalies, and gives you back the time to actually make decisions.
Today, @democritus_ai officially exists. This is Day 1 of Protecting Industrial EBITDA!

Most AI companies skip the hard problems in industrial data. 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗰𝗮𝗻'𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗲. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝗻'𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗱. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀𝗻'𝘁 𝗲𝘅𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹.
At Democritus, we've been quietly solving the hard problems.
𝗗𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗰𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘀 𝗔𝗜 𝗿𝘂𝗻𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀. The agent comes to the data, not the other way around. No extraction, no migration, no sovereignty risk.
Our 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 is its own layer, not a fine-tuned model. That means when a better model ships tomorrow, our clients get it immediately. Without retraining.
Today, you can virtualise data sources on the Democritus platform in minutes. Not 18 months. On a billion-dollar project with a 5% margin, a 𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 $𝟭𝟬 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻. That is what better data access is worth.
𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗠𝗩𝗣 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀 𝗲𝗻𝗱-𝘁𝗼-𝗲𝗻𝗱. Built by people including @swaroopgururaj and me who have spent their careers in industrial enterprises.
𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱. 𝗪𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗰𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘀. 𝗪𝗲'𝗿𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲.
Don't move your data. Move your margins. #VerticalIntelligence #IndustrialAI #CapitalProjects #ProtectYourEBITDA
𝗗𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗰𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘀 𝗔𝗜 𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗻!
The global capital projects industry delivers $9 trillion worth of critical infrastructure every year. And every single project generates countless data points: schedules, cost reports, procurement logs, field progress trackers, contract registers.
Most of that data exists in silos. Project controls teams spend most of their day assembling this data, instead of acting on it.
𝗪𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝘁 𝗗𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗰𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘀 𝗔𝗜 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁.
We virtualise your data where it lives. No migration, no warehousing, no 18-month ETL project. Our agentic co-workers read across every system, surface risks before they compound, and defend the EBITDA behind your project.
𝗗𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗰𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗰𝗮𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀.
𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗰𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘀, 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮. 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗻𝘀.
We're live with a market-ready MVP. We're raising seed capital. If you build things for a living (bridges, airports, power plants), let's talk.
𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗕𝗜𝗧𝗗𝗔 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 --> 𝗔𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 --> 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝘆

Exactly. People don't want to manage an AI; they want to do their jobs. If a tool feels like it's just giving them more 'homework' to check, they’ll stop using it. The goal is to clear the drudgery so the human can focus on the hard decisions. That’s when a user actually commits.
In short, Agency is most often the missing piece in onboarding.

Apparently only way for them to make money is through procedures.
Since this not a big brand, they may not be able charge like Apollo or Fortis rates for the surgeries.
Given the pathological entitlement of our patients, this is a bold business model to have.
All the best to Superhealth 😅
Vamos, @RafaelNadal!
As you get ready to graduate from tennis, I’ve got a few things to share before I maybe get emotional.
Let’s start with the obvious: you beat me—a lot. More than I managed to beat you. You challenged me in ways no one else could. On clay, it felt like I was stepping into your backyard, and you made me work harder than I ever thought I could just to hold my ground. You made me reimagine my game—even going so far as to change the size of my racquet head, hoping for any edge.
I’m not a very superstitious person, but you took it to the next level. Your whole process. All those rituals. Assembling your water bottles like toy soldiers in formation, fixing your hair, adjusting your underwear... All of it with the highest intensity. Secretly, I kind of loved the whole thing. Because it was so unique—it was so you.
And you know what, Rafa, you made me enjoy the game even more.
OK, maybe not at first. After the 2004 Australian Open, I achieved the #1 ranking for the first time. I thought I was on top of the world. And I was—until two months later, when you walked on the court in Miami in your red sleeveless shirt, showing off those biceps, and you beat me convincingly. All that buzz I’d been hearing about you—about this amazing young player from Mallorca, a generational talent, probably going to win a major someday—it wasn’t just hype.
We were both at the start of our journey and it’s one we ended up taking together. Twenty years later, Rafa, I have to say: What an incredible run you’ve had. Including 14 French Opens—historic! You made Spain proud... you made the whole tennis world proud.
I keep thinking about the memories we’ve shared. Promoting the sport together. Playing that match on half-grass, half-clay. Breaking the all-time attendance record by playing in front of more than 50,000 fans in Cape Town, South Africa. Always cracking each other up. Wearing each other out on the court and then, sometimes, almost literally having to hold each other up during trophy ceremonies.
I’m still grateful you invited me to Mallorca to help launch the Rafa Nadal Academy in 2016. Actually, I kind of invited myself. I knew you were too polite to insist on me being there, but I didn’t want to miss it. You have always been a role model for kids around the world, and Mirka and I are so glad that our children have all trained at your academies. They had a blast and learned so much—like thousands of other young players. Although I always worried my kids would come home playing tennis as lefties.
And then there was London—the Laver Cup in 2022. My final match. It meant everything to me that you were there by my side—not as my rival but as my doubles partner. Sharing the court with you that night, and sharing those tears, will forever be one of the most special moments of my career.
Rafa, I know you’re focused on the last stretch of your epic career. We will talk when it’s done. For now, I just want to congratulate your family and team, who all played a massive role in your success. And I want you to know that your old friend is always cheering for you, and will be cheering just as loud for everything you do next.
Rafa that!
Best always, your fan,
Roger
Extremely humbled by the support and wishes that have been pouring in. This is something that I've always dreamt of. Proud to perform at the biggest stage for my country 🇮🇳 ❤️
