BREAKING: GET HIM! The Republican head of the Armed Services Committee vows to go after Pete Hegseth for his illegal killings of stranded sailors!

SASC chair Sen. Roger Wicker issued a joint declaration with Democrat Jack Reed announcing they had directed inquiries to the Pentagon and promised “vigorous oversight” of the reports that Special Forces conducted a second airstrike on two sailors clinging to their sinking ship after it had been bombed by US forces on Pete Hegseth’s orders.

This comes on the heels of Hegseth dismissing the reports as “fake news,” showing that even prominent Senate Republicans do not believe it is fake news - and they are tired of his murderous disrespect for the law.

Killing helpless sailors is a violation of the Geneva Convention and maritime law. What the Trump admin did is 100% illegal, and Hegseth knows it.

"If you want to know why Hegseth is panicking about reminders that there is accountably for giving or carrying out illegal orders, it’s likely because he knows he has given illegal orders to murder people," remarked Sen. Chris Murphy on Twitter.

Republican Senator Rand Paul has also expressed his anger at Hegseth and Trump’s attacks on alleged “drug running boats” in the Caribbean, calling them “extrajudicial killings” comparable to executions without trial in China and Iran.

These are very serious accusations against Hegseth that he has all but confessed to in his vehement speeches demanding that the US military be more violent and lethal in its approach.

He must be held accountable for every life lost in his despicable efforts to flex his fascist muscles.
