Phase 2 of TN duck season kicks off on Monday, Dec. 5th through Jan. 31, 2023. Many are used to a weekend opener but this year it starts on a Monday due to the split season used to maximize hunt days later in January.

About 150, 10-15 in. rainbow trout were placed into the river at the @TVANEWS S. Holston weir dam today by officials from 4 agencies. The release commemorates an agreement to provide continued funding for 3 federal fish hatcheries to continue stocking waters in GA and TN @USFWS
