With Division I coaches barred from contacting rising juniors until August 1, the college camp has quietly become the most important place your athlete can be this summer. A camp on a school's own field is one of the few settings where a coach can watch your son or daughter in person and form a real opinion. But be selective. A camp at a school that actually recruits their position and level is worth ten generic showcases promising a hundred coaches who never come. Pay for the field where the right eyes already are.

Getting Ready to start my summer season with Austin’s Collegiate league @TXSelectLeague can’t wait to compete this summer with high level talent.

Folks: I feel that it is important to bring awareness to situations that arise in youth sports that parents may be seeking opinions or insight on. No one person, coach or program is being targeted or held responsible for a huge issue within youth baseball. It is imperative that we discuss and create awareness and try to find answers! We , as adults, can discuss, debate and work towards solutions. Most arm injuries in older athletes are traced back to youth workloads. @bsblbluebook @Pitchsafe_co @ArmoredHeat

[Coach Beede @CoachBeede]

Coach , We have folks that simply do not believe that in a USSSA/PG world that this actually happens. Yet , when we dare discuss it, “ Let the kids play, they are kids they can handle it” Meanwhile coach on the ball bucket with double wristbands wearing Oakleys , is calling 0-2 , 1-2 , 2-2 , 3-2 breaking balls to a 13 yr old three hole hitter

[Coach Beede @CoachBeede]

A 13-year-old throwing 46 pitches on Saturday and then coming back to throw 97 more on Sunday? No one has a "RUBBER ARM," regardless of what "adults" think! In March, in the Southwest, all under the banner of "travel ball fun"? That's not development. That's reckless. Any coach who green-lights that workload on a kid that age has no business leading young pitchers ever again, at any level. Period. We don't need another committee to debate guidelines or form a task force. We need immediate, real change: strict enforcement of sensible pitch limits, mandatory rest, and coaches who actually prioritize arm health over wins or showcase stats. I've seen too many promising athletes sidelined for life because adults put "exposure" ahead of their future. Enough. Protect these boys. Their arms aren't indestructible. @Pitchsafe_co @ArmoredHeat @bsblbluebook @TylerBeede @mtabor22

Select Baseball Tournaments

[Next Level Baseball @nextlevelbb]

What contributed to the Tommy John epidemic the most in your opinion. You may be surprised by my vote.

[Texas Select League @TXSelectLeague]

As the Fall season comes to a close, have you calculated how much money & time you spent on select tournament baseball this year? Those gate fees, hotels, gas, etc add up really fast. What was the actual return on that investment? There is a better way! https://t.co/RcZpUdVB6e

[Texas Select League @TXSelectLeague]

So much talk about decommits. College coaches’ jobs are based on winning. Don’t knock them for taking players to win now. Why take a smaller & weaker HS player over a transfer? HS players quit wasting time at travel tourneys. Play local, hit the weight room, & develop right now!
