@devinxcombs Haha that’s right
Too many times we get answers of why things can’t be done. It’s not until you push and find out WHY not, before you start to see the box your playing in and find solutions.
@RohunJauhar Have heard from a few different folks they expect many pensions, funds having to rebalance their RE exposure, not b/c of performance expectations.
Can’t speak to that insight from experience but makes me wonder how many headlines like this are simply rebalancing mandates.
@Levijameshere And sometimes your qb throws a pick and it’s time to play defense. Doesn’t mean he’s benched and you’re scrapping the playbook. When you get the ball back run your offense and don’t be afraid to air it out but ultimately defense wins championships.
@creromans@FlannCasey Ha yea negotiations are a whole different ball game…I’m just referring to the curtesy notice when they’re leaving your building ;) best of luck show em who the Roman boss is!
@creromans@FlannCasey That could change who knows but would recommend getting to know the market GSA officer making the RE decisions. The ones I’ve worked with have been very helpful and provided transparency even when they were leaving my building.
@creromans@FlannCasey And i’ve found it to take them 12-18 months for the termination request to work it’s way through the system, so fair to say you’ll get plenty of time to market and re-tenant.
@creromans If you think a p-tax appeal is realistic in the semi-distant future certainly would try for free rent to keep your face rent at market while offering lower net effective.
