@captain9nyr@JohnKincade Your definition of what a hard cap is is inaccurate. Hard cap means you have a certain amount of guaranteed money to spend on players. Football contracts are far more flexible than hockey contracts but there is still a hard cap in football
@captain9nyr@JohnKincade You can only spend however much the league says you can spend though, that’s a hard cap. Also point still stands it sounds like a lot of NHL teams are poorly run, especially the Canadian teams
@captain9nyr@JohnKincade The NFL has a hard cap and the Cowboys haven’t won in forever, Houston hasn’t made it to an AFC championship, the Dolphins are perennially mid along with the Buccaneers. If organizations are run well then they will win. Clearly there’s a lot of teams in the NHL that are not
@kuch4mvp There wasn’t really much to care about in this one tbh, both teams have really good players and all that but there was no real intrigue in this matchup. In the last two McDavid was trying to win his first and then Florida was trying to go back to back
@David6914626764@JackOfAllGamess The reason they starting wearing pads and helmets was bc players were literally dying and it was on the verge of being banned. I promise if you ever play you’ll feel like you were in a car accident the day after.
