I've spent a lifetime making the world a richer place. Now Twitter has become pretty much useless to me since it became a platform only for rich people.
Feel free to share this. Just for fun, here's a poem named "wallz": rumpty trumpty promised a wall. rumpty trumpty said it'd be tall. all his supporters believed all his lies. they think his wall is tremendous in size.
@EdKrassen Perhaps we should change such laws, because the USA just elected someone as president who has made it very clear that he thinks anything he can get away with is okay to do, no matter who it hurts or in what ways or how badly or how many people. But, what's done is done.
@EdKrassen Actually that is something that the law currently allows a president of the United States to do, and Joe Biden didn't make it that way. So regardless of whether it was the right thing to do or not, yes it was actually legal, so no he wasn't being above the law.
@OccupyDemocrats While I agree with your sentiment and am not by any means intending to belittle it or make light of it in any way, I would like to point out that if the legal system treated everyone the way they treat the criminal who just bought the presidency, nobody would ever be arrested.
@RLesSantos@OccupyDemocrats Just to be clear, the problems you're calling American problems are USA problems, right? There are a lot of countries in America.
@cptcapt@OccupyDemocrats Could be? You're being so generous to him. Yeah, he's definitely an embarrassment to humanity, but he was that before he ever ran for a political office. Long before.
@parkermccumber@OccupyDemocrats You might want to reread it, as I saw blaming of certain activities, not certain places. They were mentions of places, but the places weren't being blamed.
@OccupyDemocrats And it's worth noting that the tariffs only apply to legal sales, so those are the ones that will reduce and not the illegal ones. But isn't that what he meant when he talked about grating America again? Shredding it, like he did last time? Certainly looks that way.
@JoJoFromJerz It's interesting. Vladimir Putin does acts of war against an ally and claims they're not war, and our government steps in, but someone right here in our own country flat out calls what he's doing against our country War, and our government does nothing to stop him. At least, yet.
@JoJoFromJerz If it's required for the transition, and he refuses, doesn't that mean he should be refused the transition? It would seem to me that's like choosing not to sign the end user license agreement for using a piece of software or a web service.
@JoJoFromJerz By the way, he has called the people of the United States the enemy, and quite literally declared war against that supposed enemy. It would seem to me that should disqualify him from any political office at any level of government within the USA, elected or otherwise.
@NationalFile I wonder how many they kicked out of weather damaged homes because those didn't meet code anymore either, and left them in even worse situations than having to stay in the damaged home. Looks like time to revise the codes, in my opinion.
@jimmy_dore That sounds like you're describing yourself, jimmy. I wish you'd go back to playing for the home team, because the people could really use you on their side again. You did well for a while, and I congratulate you on that, and I do wish you would choose to do so again.
