ETAF, a legal framework, is a solution to the mismatch between public investment & public return. It represents some legal demands attached to the technology transfer between universities & the private market to ensure access for the public of the end product

Technologies developed from publicly-funded research @ universities are often sold to private companies, along with the transfer of IP-rights, creating a monopoly in the market, and limited access ❌👎🏽
