Nothing to celebrate in the third summer of genocide.
Too many lives lost, many more devastated. And it continues.
We must persevere.
Stop the Genocide.
End Occupation.
End Apartheid.
“We are having people being arrested before they've said anything—people who were just making the way for poems. If this was happening in Russia or China, people would be outraged.”
Speaking outside Westminster Magistrates Court, Tim Crosland of Defend Our Juries detailed the chaotic police intervention targeting peaceful solidarity actions for Gaza. Over 1,500 people—many of them pensioners—were listed to appear on charges under anti-terror legislation for holding signs, only to face court administrative delays.
When organizers set up a simple step stand to allow poets to share readings and songs for Gaza, police swept in, arresting two people and placing them in painful rear hand-restraints under anti-terror and serious crime provisions. Shortly after, a facilitator was arrested simply for speaking to the crowd without amplification.

The Financial Conduct Authority's proof-of-concept deal with Palantir moves us in the wrong direction.
A company facing allegations of human rights abuses and associated with significant data privacy and national security concerns should not be gaining a greater foothold in our public sector.
I'm backing FCA employees' campaign to keep Palantir out of the regulator, and have written to the Chief Executive urging the FCA to end its use of Palantir systems.
The Government should be reducing its reliance on Palantir, not deepening it.

Dr James Smith, who is currently working in Gaza, explains that Israel is continuing to control the entry of medical equipment & medication into Gaza, leading to extreme shortages in basic supplies like gauze & paracetamol
The genocide continues.
🚨UN special rapporteur Ben Saul has urged the UK "not to disproportionately transform ordinary criminal damage into offences with a terror connection".
This comes as the CPS seeks to sentence five activists as terrorists for targeting a Barclays bank.

💢 🇵🇸 A video circulating in a WhatsApp group linked to the Hilltop Youth, a violent Israeli settler movement in the occupied West Bank, celebrates the burning of mosques in 10 Palestinian villages in recent weeks, according to the channel’s own posts.
The villages named are Kur, Qusra, at-Tuwani, Jit, Mazari an-Nubani, Jaljulia, Burka, Qibya, Duma, and Tel, communities scattered across the West Bank from Nablus and Ramallah to the hills south of Hebron. Several are well-documented sites of settler arson and deadly attacks, including Duma, where settlers firebombed a home in 2015, killing an 18-month-old and his parents.
The Hilltop Youth are a loose network of young extremist settlers behind repeated attacks on Palestinians and their property.
Next week is the anniversary of Hiroshima.
Today, the Prime Minister has announced more investment in weapons of mass destruction.
The UK spends £12,000 every minute on nuclear weapons. Imagine if we spent that money on social care, schools and the NHS instead.
⭕️ Two Israeli female soldiers photographed themselves posing beside a young, blindfolded Palestinian detainee who appears to be a minor and proudly posted the image on Instagram.
The post, which circulated widely online and was reviewed by Drop Site News, was uploaded by Israeli soldier Nikol Stelmashvski as part of a 20-photo carousel containing additional images from her time in Gaza. Her account [@ nikol.stel, IG] has since been made private after the photo drew public backlash.
The image is the latest in a documented pattern of Israeli soldiers publicly sharing evidence of Palestinian detainees being humiliated or abused. Such conduct violates international humanitarian law, which prohibits the degrading treatment of detainees.
The ICJ has ruled that Israel must cease its occupation of the West Bank immediately, dismantle all settlements & withdraw their troops.
And whats the UK doing about it? Telling the UN its alarmed & appalled by the situation there, all the while supporting & arming Israel
🚨 Palestinian man Sheikh Farouk Ramadan, whom Israel labeled a “terrorist” after he defended himself during a confrontation with armed settlers in the occupied West Bank village of Tel on Friday, was shot dead while unarmed, an analysis of four videos by +972 Magazine and Local Call found.
The footage undercuts the army’s claim that it “neutralized the terrorist who carried out the shooting attack,” as previously shared in a post by @ireallyhateyou account on X (see reply).
Reconstructing the incident from the footage, the outlets lay out the following sequence:
🔸 Armed settlers from the nearby Havat Gilad outpost entered the Palestinian village, and one struck Ramadan with his rifle. Residents came out to repel them and a scuffle broke out.
🔸 Ramadan wrestled that rifle away and fired it during the melee. This is the moment Israel calls a “terror attack,” but the weapon was a settler’s, seized on the spot.
🔸 He was then filmed walking slowly toward soldiers, unarmed, with nothing in either hand, before dropping to the ground. He was shot dead there, possibly by a settler, minutes after the gun had left his hands.
The outlets note the army only located the weapon in a search after the incident, confirming Ramadan was not holding it when he was killed.
Two Israelis and four Palestinians, including three of Ramadan’s relatives, were killed; Israeli media have reported the dead soldier (the second Israeli) was likely killed by friendly fire.
Whenever the apt analogy is drawn between South African Apartheid and Israeli Apartheid, cynics and doubters ask: If so, where is the Palestinian Nelson Mandela?
The answer is: Languishing in prison, tortured and menaced around the clock by prison guards for 24 endless years. His name? Marwan Barghouti.
The man who can unite Palestinians. A shining bright hope for both Palestinians and Israelis who want an end to genocide, to apartheid, to ethnic cleansing, to violence. That’s why Marwan Barghouti keeps languishing in a dismal, inhuman Israeli prison.
Will you join me in joining TEAM FREE MARWAN?
Not a single person has been held accountable for their participation in genocide.
Meanwhile, opponents of genocide are sentenced as terrorists.
What kind of dystopian world are we living in? This absurdity must end. De-proscribe Palestine Action, now.
On Andy Burnham’s second day as UK prime minister, he helped the US bomb Iran via RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire.
We visited RAF Fairford in March of this year to investigate how Donald Trump was using the airbase to bomb Iran at the height of the war.
Screens had been put up behind the fences to restrict visibility and several roads closed, limiting access to journalists and members of the public.
However, by using a ladder and some ingenuity, we were able to see pallets of 2,000lb bombs being loaded onto American B-1 war planes bound for Iran.
They had me fired. Arrested 4 times. Suspended my medical licence. Smeared me in every paper.
Now the British zionist jewish lobby is attacking my fundraiser!
It cost me £90,000 to defend my licence. I live on what remains of my life savings.
I set up a Chuffed fundraiser to tackle police harassment and keep me on my feet. Campaign Against Antisemitism (CAA) is now threatening Chuffed with police action.
They want to destroy me.
I am a Palestinian and a British citizen. I have never had a patient complaint. Never broken the law. Worked for 7 years in the NHS. Cared for my fellow British citizens. Paid my taxes.
My crime?
I opposed genocide and jewish supremacy. Exposed their grip on Britain.
That's it.
My response:
{فَٱقْضِ مَآ أَنتَ قَاضٍ ۖ إِنَّمَا تَقْضِى هَٰذِهِ ٱلْحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنْيَآ}
So do whatever you want! Your authority only covers the ˹fleeting˺ life of this world. Qur'an 20:72
-
I would do it all over again. Everything I did was to save the lives of the Palestinian people being murdered by the jewish occupation. And to stop the British government from using my taxes to arm them.
May justice and truth prevail.
We fear God only.
Free Palestine and Britain from jewish supremacy 🇵🇸🇬🇧

Falconer: "Success in Ukraine looks like.. a victory for intl law. It is an absolutely vital principle that.. Russia cannot simply gobble up pieces of territory it thinks its got some connection to"
So why are we arming Israel? Why aren't we arming Palestine to help them resist?
Andy Burnham: "I have to live in the world we're in & make pragmatic decisions in the best interests of the country"
We are letting the US use British bases to wage an illegal war on Iran thats pushing up our energy bills. How is that in our interest?
I'd like to share a clip of the new defence secretary having to explain why the UK is still arming Israel when he says they're committing war crimes. But he wasn't asked about it so I can't.
Urgent message and call to prayer.
'Every day we wake up wondering which Palestinian village will be attacked next. We are exhausted. We live in fear and terror.'
Settler violence in the West Bank has become a daily, relentless reality. Families attacked in their homes. Farms burned. People killed. And Palestinians left defenseless with no protection and no accountability.
I do not want to share statistics. I am tired of numbers.
'We're not numbers. We're not headlines. We're talking about mothers, fathers, children, grandparents — with names, with stories, with futures that are being cut short.'
He calls us to pray. Not as a substitute for justice — but because we believe God hears the cry of the oppressed.
I call on you to act. To speak. To write. To mobilize. To refuse to look away.
'We owe it to every family living in fear today. We also owe it to our faith.'
