Hey @essential, new idea: Notification To-do
I get a notification and I do a swipe left to see an option to add it to Essential Space with optional voice notes/text. And when I confirm, it sets a task or event based on the notification content without me ever opening the app.
Isn’t it about time for the Nothing Watch (1)? ⌚️

The designs of our concept KEIRIN were applied to MBL. We believe great cameras need great software. And by shipping MBL first, we learn from real people using a real tool in the real world. Allowing us to build the knowledge that will carry into everything that follows.
Nothing Phone (4a) first impressions coming from (3a):
- The new button layout is bad
- Noticeably smoother performance
- Larger rounded corners
- Prefer Phone (3a)'s in-hand feel
- Essential Voice works so good
- Better haptics
- Not very impressed with image processing so far
The ChatGPT Android app sneaking in a Codex app icon into the app grid without ever notifying. (This happened in multiple devices of mine, and I don't even know the app exists.)
Must be a wild and desperate dark pattern to acquire users on Codex.
Each of us could be constantly building a whole another reality for ourselves in these devices depending on how much time we choose to (or get pulled to) spend in here. It only gets more ridiculous as you think of the scale at which this is happening and it is the norm of today.
Most of the time, the screens that I look at are mine: the browser that I use, the file manager, default sort by, taskbar, widgets, display scale, layouts, wallpaper, cursor, apps, feeds, every single thing.
