GOOD MORNING AND GOOD NEWS!🌞 💐
We are relieved to see the French National Assembly vote against the dangerous backdoor amendments in the Narcotrafficing law.
To all of those who saw sense and stood against these pernicious proposals late into the evening, thank you!
Rejecting backdoors and the erosion of the critical digital infrastructure on which safety and sovereignty rely is imperative, at this moment in particular. May this mark a change in the winds, in which efforts to undermine fundamental rights in the digital realm, like these misguided proposals, are redirected into initiatives to strengthen our collective safety and liberty.
When money is traceable, surveillance becomes an inevitable part of daily life. True sovereignty is achieved only when individuals can exchange value without being monitored.
