Don't focus on the Returns column. Focus on the Gain to Pain column. That's the ratio I like to use, to judge PMS & MF Performance. So should you.

Explaining Gain to Pain ( GP) Ratio,bcos recd several questions on it: Say, 12 month returns are 20%. In that, total of losing months is 10 ( eg, 3+5+2). 20/10=2 GP Ratio.
Shows you how much pain a fund manager gave you while delivering his gains. Easy to understand.
