Wicklow County Council is thrilled to announce the successful purchase of a stunning 21-acre beachfront parcel at Magheramore! This beautiful land, known for its breathtaking views of the Irish Sea and rich history, will ensure continued public access to one of our beloved coastal gems.

Cllr Paul O’Brien expressed the excitement, highlighting the beach’s association with surfing, filming, and community events like the “Strip & Dip” for cancer research.

With this acquisition, we are taking a significant step towards protecting our Special Area of Conservation and ensuring future generations can enjoy the natural beauty of Magheramore Beach.
