i understand the PoV that AI-related job losses are really just leaning out fat from what has been effectively corporate-administered welfare

but also, take a moment to consider what happens when you eliminate that en masse, increase productivity simultaneously, and reassign all of that existing and new economic benefit to capital-owners instead of people trying to make ends meet

the result will be an even worse distribution of wealth and more societal unrest
