@leesaciz@techteach_csub Hi Leesa,
I like the use of your 4 point scale rubric for math. Rubics are also great because it allows for the grading to be honest and unbiased. #EDTE4100SUMMER2020TC13
@techteach_csub Rubrics help clarify expectations. A 3 point scale rubric can be incorporated in mathematics.
2- Student's answer is correct, shows work.
1-Student gives a partially correct answer.
0-Student does not address task.

@lovecynn@techteach_csub Hi Cynthia,
I love your idea of using Prezi to teach reading comprehension. I think that the presentation becomes more engaging when using Prezi because of the features it has!
@techteach_csub Google Slidedeck can be used to teach Vocabulary. For example, I can type the vocabulary word, and I can also add a picture and/or short video to go along with the word. #EDTE4100SUMMER2020TC11
@Elizabe04502459 @techteach_csub Elizabeth,
I agree with you, Google Form is indeed a great tool to use for assessments. I love that the teacher can give immediate feed back. Not only that but, it also collects the data and it can be accessed on a spreadsheet!
@EricaFinks@techteach_csub Hi Erica,
It was me! I have tried it, and it is so beneficial! I love how there is a template already made. This is a great tool to help students study.
@shearsandrea1@techteach_csub Hi Andrea,
I love the idea of students using Flocabulary! I will be teaching 5th grade, and I think I am going to be using this website! The songs are definitely catchy. I also like that it has a vocab game, a quiz, and the lyrics to the songs. Thanks for sharing!
@techteach_csub Freckle by Renaissance is the perfect tool to implement in a lesson plan to help improve student attention/memory. Freckle is aligned with state standards, has differentiated activities, and is interactive. Students earn coins while working on a skill. #EDTE4100SUMMER2020TC9
So a teacher tests positive. Do they quarantine for 14 days? Are those sick days? Who pays for them? Will they still be required to teach while in quarantine? #COVID19
@kmarcos16@techteach_csub Hi Marcos,
I love this idea. Integrating a video into a Google Slide will not only enhance the presentation, but also allow students to more likely remember the information.
@techteach_csub Google Slides is a powerful classroom resource! Students can use Google Slides to collaborate and create digital notecards to help each other study.

I was just as excited! Please feel free to e-mail me anytime! Two brains are better than one, right? π
@ErandenyLievan1 @techteach_csub Hi Erandeny,
I love your idea of using Go Noodle! It is a great way to to help students with their social-emotional health as well as motivation. I love that it has videos for managing stress, practicing self control, and boosting confidence! #EDTE4100Summer2020TC7
@techteach_csub@ClassDojo can be used to help improve motivational and social behavior. It helps manage and improve behaviors by use of the point system that is integrated into the app. It is also a great communication tool! #EDTE4100SUMMER2020TC7
@janettm97@jse_CSUB@csubted@googledocs Hey Janett,
I love the idea to use @googledocs for peer-evaluation. I like the features that it has such as leaving comments. It is perfect way to leave feedback! This is a great tool to use if we were to ever go back to distance learning. #edte4200@jse_CSUB@csubted
@jse_CSUB@csubted A4: Google Docs is the perfect tool to peer-evaluate work prior to submission. The person doing the evaluating, can highlight errors on the document, so that the writer can easily see the errors and make the changes prior to submission. #EDTE4200@jse_CSUB@csubted
@jd_believeit @jse_CSUB@csubted Hey Juan,
Thank you! I do feel a little bit better because these 5th graders are the same students I taught in 2nd grade!
