Like, that is so obvious, I feel like giving him 100, even just to prove a point, is an incorrect assessment. At least drop him down to an 80 for that.
Miles' is plenty smart, but he's also...a teen. Teens can be kinda dumb, so this ain't condemning him. Just a nitpick.
I don't think Miles Morales' teacher should've changed his grade from 0 to 100. B/c while she's correct that the only way he could've gotten a 0 on a T/F quiz is *by* knowing the answers and then throwing it, it's also an especially dumb method of throwing it.
@survivor_wiki@PJGustavson Again, I don’t defend Caleb, he sucks. But compared to SDT and Hali, he’s bizarrely not *the* most WTF pick of the cast.
Also Brad and Troyzan were clearly just brought back for missing the Cambodia cut…in which case why not bring back SHANE?! Constant L after Constant L for GC
@survivor_wiki@PJGustavson Not to defend Caleb, but at least there’s precedent for him returning, same for Bruce returning in S45.
But Sierra Dawn Thomas, Hali Ford?! Why?! Worlds Apart is a pretty despised season, but if players were to return from it who hadn’t, CAROLYN IS RIGHT THERE!
@survivor_wiki I like New Era, and most of those players at least bring this BIPOC ratio up to *almost* half (which is still a step back, but it’s closer than it could’ve been), but they’re valid criticisms when other old school players got the shaft anyway in favor of it.
@survivor_wiki And granted, no cast would make every fan universally happy, there’s gonna be complaints all around. But there are obvious issues across the board anyway. Like half the cast being New Era and the BIPOC initiative being rolled back, regardless of stats.
@CKeefeShea@Brian_Scally Maybe that’s presumptuous of me, I don’t actually know what other BIPOCs think. I certainly consider it a massive step backwards b/c I felt I was getting more interesting backgrounds that hadn’t been highlighted as much in Survivor, and I wanted more of that.
@CKeefeShea@Brian_Scally Statistically speaking, correct, it’s an improvement from other all-returnee seasons. It’s definitely a step backwards from the new era tho, and I indicated “massive” because that could very well be what other BIPOCs think of it. IDK, I’m white, but this is about consideration.
@TomScibelli Honestly, I’d almost include Tiffany as one of the ppl with the smallest footprint, but being a memorable character on a season full of them is enough, as well as solving her beware advantage as quickly as she did. That counts for something.
@TomScibelli Do all of these ppl have something to prove? No, many don’t, but they do have a legacy of some sort. Chrissy, Mike and Charlie are probably the closest to not have a huge footprint on the show, but those 3 are still plenty memorable in their own way. (Not hate I like those 3)
@vanillamuse2 @BenWurth2 @SurvDiversity@CBS Cirie, Ozzy, Angelina, Dee, Tiffany, Q, Kamilla, Joe and Kyle are all POCs. That’s 9.
That doesn’t refute the main tweet about the quote being rolled back which is disappointing to say the least, but for the accuracy of stats, it’s not *8*. (Again, this doesn’t include S49)
@BenWurth2 @SurvDiversity@CBS Respectfully, that is still walking it back, and New Era seasons got flack in places that was well deserved, but the CASTING wasn’t ever really 1 of them.
