میں نے آج شیخوپورہ کے قریب تین نئے صنعتی علاقوں کی تعمیر کا سنگ بنیاد رکھا ہے. پاکستان کے پاس صنعتی ترقی کی بے انتہا استعداد موجود ہے جس سے فائدہ نہیں اٹھایا جا سکا. یہ انتہائی خوش آئند امر ہے کہ پاکستان کا نجی شعبہ آگے بڑھ رہا ہے اور اس استعداد کو برؤئے کار لانے کیلئے اربوں روپے کی سرمایہ کاری کر رہا ہے. میں اپنے صنعت و تجارت کے کپتانوں کی مستقل مزاجی اور محنت کو داد دونگا. معاشی مشکلات کے باوجود وہ قومی ترقی میں اپنا کلیدی کردار ادا کرتے آ رہے ہیں.

اپنی گفتگو میں آج میں نے جدید ٹیکنالوجی اور برآمدات و صنعتی مصنوعات میں ویلیو ایڈیشن کے استعمال کی ضرورت پر زور دیا. قومی معیشت کی ازسر نو بحالی کے پروگرام کے تحت ہم ان تمام منصوبوں کی معینہ مدت میں تکمیل یقینی بنانے کیلئے تمام سرکاری وسائل کو برؤئے کار لانے کے نظریے پر عمل پیرا ہیں.
